Setsuya kept his mouth shut for once as he took in the small bits of information that Nellie spewed forth. "Alright... Just, two more questions... How did you two even meet, and when?" he asked, shaking off the domb-founded expression on his face, Lueria finding his constant movements to be annoying. She was fairly lose to biting the bak of Setsuya's neck again just to get him to stop. Lueria alwas did that without warning. If someone were to look at the back of Setsuya's neck before nightfall, there were usually two or four bite marks. At the least they didn't become scars thanks to Setsuya's healing ethic.

Nellie blinked a bit with a straight face.
She shrugged and leaned her head back against the tree.

"1654, October 7."
She said, the day coming into her thoughts vividly.

"I had been sent out early that morning since of some family matters I really don't wish to discuss, and I was wearing one of my older brother over shirts. Iclimbed into a talltree, much like the one behind me, and climbed up and hung upside down. I like to do that. Andershire fell out of the front pocket and caught onto my hair to keep from falling. Then, we were never able to seperate."

She explained curtly.

The man grit his teeth and stood, brushing off his pants. He then fixed his jacket in a professional manor. Hmph... Just like this old man to hire such... goons." He spat bitterly, but in his ignorance boiled Xione's anger. "Goon?! Threat or not, you are dead." Xione's voice was menacing and demonic now, like a switch had been flipped to make her sound like that. The man ran the second Xione seemed angry, but of course, Xione gave chase. Clifford was able to stop Xione before she could run out the door though. "Xione! It's just an old thug. Don't let his meaningless words get to you." Clifford said while Xione continued to pull to go after the man.

Ezvar came up behind Xione, for once he was being helpful. He made a quick mental note not to do that very often "Hey, let him go, son of a b**** isn't worth it." He spoke in a simple tone as though they were talking about the weather. A small smile could be seen touching Ezvar's lips. He patted Xione on the shoulder as he spoke, he was enjoying this. It was more action than he got on most days "What's his issue anyway?" Ezvar asked looking over to her.

Setsuya couldn't help but have to smirk at that. It was rather funny to think that the meeting was so sudden and strange. Seeing that Andershire lived this long without uttering a word is pretty impressive. "Huh." He huffed with an attitude of saticfaction on his breath. After just a moment, letting Lueria finish her little data collection sequence. "I guess I am done here. No offense, but it's getting kind of boring here. You feel like doing anything, Nellie?" He asked, shoving his hands into his pockets, actuing bluntly and spontaniously as he tried to continue to keep his boredom surpressed.

Xione growled, calming down very slowly. Once she did, she was wiped of energy. "Geez..." She hissed out whlie Khana trotted back up to Xione and looked up at her while Xione leaned on the closest wall, breathing heavily to try and catch her breath. "That man is a notorious gangster... My little cafe here does really well, so I should think that he would want my money... Although, he is my son... He could have always just done well in school and I could have given him plenty..." Clifford sighed. "My boy... Where did I go wrong..."

"Oh... he is?" Ezvar said, thinking about how hipocritical he had just been. It seemed the only store he hadn't stolen form in town was this one. Ezvar slowly reached for his hat, to pull it down over his eyes. He was astonished when he realized it was no longer on his head. He looked over Xione and gave a little chuckle when he realized she still had it. He only smiled though and turned back to the chef "Well... Sometimes it is harder for people to learn that others, and in the growing econimy it is hard to retain a job, some of us must resort to such ways if we are to keep ourselves fed." Ezvar slapped his hand over his mouth, his eyes growing wide with astonishment. He hadn't learned anything in school, he always told people that school was useless, he couldn't start using it "I...um... mean." he said coughing "I have no clue." he stuck his hands back in his pockets and pretended like nothing had ever happened.

Xione had actually forgotten that she was wearing Ezvar's hat. She was just trying to cool off before she could begin snapping on everyone who tried to talk to her. Khana just sat on Xione's shoulder, watching the others in absolute silence. Clifford just sighed and shook his head with a groan. "My boy..." He took in a breath and looked at Xione and Ezvar, smiling kindly the way only a grandfather could. "The bread is almost finished. Feel free to go take a seat, you two. Thank you again, Xione." Clifford said gratefully, shooing them off with a hand as he went back to the oven. Xione didn't do anything until Khana repeated Clifford's words into her ear. "R-Right!" She snapped out of her half-dead state and pushed off from the wall, nodding to Clifford before heading back to the front of the store.

Ezvar quickly followed her, putting a hand on her shoulder "Hey, you feeling alright?" he asked, his eyes showed... concern? His eyes bulged again when he realized what he had said "I...I mean... Um... damn it." he muttered. He looked back up at her and put on a nervouse smile. Why did he care? He didn't care about anyone but himself, that was how it was now. He gently and silently slide his hand away, hiding them behind his back. He cringed slightly, waiting for her to get mad or start asking questions.

Xione blinked, giving Ezvar a side glance and stopped before going past the counter in the storefront. It was pretty early, so no one was really around at this time... "... Well you're getting chummy." She said nonchalantly, trembling from the anger that contnued to burn within her head. Khana mewed, looking up at Ezvar. "This is actually normal for her... but you don't seem like the caring type. Are you alright?" She asked, perched on Xione's shoulder calmly and collectively sd only a cat could. Xione was interested in this as well, looking up at Ezvar and still obliious to the fact that she was still earing his hat.

Ezvar just shook his head slowly "No I am most certainly not... or..." he shook his head again, pulling and then ends of his already crazy hair "damn it, damn it, damn it." he said stomping and jumpin gup and down. What was going on? He was most certainly not alright but he didn't feel any different. He stopped, fozen in the spot then he slowly turned his head to stare at his shoes, it was probably best that he just didn't talk right now.

Xione continued to watch Ezvar and ended up smiling. She raised her hand and ruffled Ezvar's hair just to bring him out of this. "This is fun." She giggled, Ezvar's frustration becoming very entertaining. Khana began to snicker as well, but didn't take it as entertaining as Xione did. Xione could actually feel the static in Ezvar's hair drift from the strands of hair that she ruffled around. "Seeing you like this is just... Amusing." She smirked, her cromson eyes twinkling with interest.

Ezvar's squeezed his eyes shut and ran his hands wildly through his hair. He pushed Xione's hands away then tried to fix his hair. He looked back up, his hair more staticly then ever; giving him almost the mad scientist look. When he called her amusing though he glowered "Call it amusing again and see what happens!" he threatened his hands slipping to his belt but he wasn't seriouse enough, especially with his spike hair.
