Ororo grabbed her watering can figuring there would be kids in the pool. She smiled when she realized she was correct. She poured some water on the roses zoning out the noises and focusing on the water. Some strands strayed away from the others. She heard a scream a jumped. She looked over to see a few little kids staring into the pool. What's going on? She wondered. She ran over. "What's wrong?" She asked. "We were just messing around and he fell in." A little boy explained. "None of us can swim." Ororo nodded. She took off her shoes and her jacket and dove into the pool. She retrieved the boy and swam to the surface. She put the boy on the ground and pulled herself out. She glared at the others. "Go call 911." She said. "Our parents are asleep." A little girl said. "We're locked out." Ororo sighed. She cursed to herself when she remembered her phone was disconnected. She began to do CPR on the kid. She growled when his heart began failing. She pressed her fingers to his chest and sent a jolt of lightning through the kid. She continued to do this until the boy began coughing. She smiled and turned him on his side. She gasped when a rough hand pulled her by her neck. "What the h*** do you think you were doing to my kid mutie?" The man asked. She coughed his breath was strong with alcohol. "Saving his life." Ororo choked out. "More like killing him!" The man spat throwing her away from him. "I'm going to get the MRD and get you out of this neighborhood." He spat. Ororo stumbled away quickly. She saw the children staring wide eyed at her she ran to her apartment. She fumbled with her keys trying to get the door unlocked. She stumbled in when she finally got it open. She pulled out her suitcase and quickly packed her clothes and anything necessary for survival. She rushed out of her building. She ran down the sidewalk looking over her shoulder every few seconds. She spotted a building in the distance. She glared at it and frowned. She saw that building somewhere. She gasped when she remembered. She spotted the sign frowning. This is your only chance. She thought. She walked up to the door and knocked hesitantly.

Kate spoted the school and dived down she landed lightly and looked around.
