Agatha "Aggy" Clemson|Female|Unknown (Ares)|Location:Lake|tags: Auggie
Aggy was already wriggling out of her wet polar tech when the other girl grabbed her shirt. "Hey-" Aggy called, pulling toward where the stump where their weapons were."Not without the cutlass," She said, trying to fight the hand on her shirt. She just pulled harder, knowing it would be easier to get it with her numb hands than retrieve it later when pins and needles of feeling had shot back through them. And the Juliet girl had mentioned thievery earlier, she couldn't risk it!

Ophelia Rogers|Female|Aphrodite|Location: Aphrodite cabin |tags: Poppy and Kade (mentioned), Pippa
Thanks!” Ophelia called to her friend, too cold to fight her about going alone. She had noticed an Athena boy standing outside, but she didn’t engage him, too focused on getting through the door and warning up. But the girl standing new to him was a different story.

She was beautiful, but Ophelia didn't recognize her face. Ah, a new one then. It was odd that the girl was already standing by the Aphrodite cabin, as new campers usually took some time to get claimed, but there was no denying that this was where she belonged. Her bright blue eyes stood out to Ophelia, mirrors of her own, yet somehow even more ethereal. They made one want to never look away.

Ophelia gave her a thin smile, not wanting to expose her teeth too the cold more than she had to, and quickened her pace to reach her.
"Hey there, I'm Ophelia. We can talk more inside." She gave a curt nod, rather than drag her freezing hand out to shake the brunette's undoubtably also cold one. Then she strode toward the door, propping it open to let the girl in. It was then that she noticed Mira, who looked rather glum. If this is the work of that Hermes dwarf... She ironed out the scowl that was starting on her face, and offered a smile to both of them as she stood by the door.

Henry "Hank" Walker|Male|Apollo|Location: ----> Dining Pavilion |tags: Kenna
"Nah, just light," He said, though maybe, if I just... He raised a hand, palm toward him, and focused his energy on it. As soon as the light started, he closed his fingers to concentrate the light. Is it working? He frowned, her point rolling over him like water off a duck's back.

Hank was used to snow. He grinned at her nostalgic face, noticing the softening from the corner of his eyes. "No, I'm more of a snow fort kind of guy." He'd never been ice skating, but it sounded fun!

"Yeah, of course!" He said, raising his glowing hand to wave at Sky, the light he was pulling in bouncing off the snow.

|Mirabelle Everhart|17|She/Her|Aphrodite|Head Counselor|Location: Cabin 10|Tags: Pippa|

As soon as she was inside, Mirabelle rifled through the chest containing her belongings to find her winter coat. It was a double-breasted flared trench coat that was lined with off-white faux fur; the coat itself a warm shade of medium brown in colour. Once located, she quickly grabbed it and slipped into its warm, plush fabric. She had just turned back to locate her winter boots when the sound of a voice halted her progress. She straightened up and turned to find a rather attractive girl who looked to be about her age standing in the cabin. In her haste to get inside, she'd completely missed her at first. "Hi there!" she called back, doing her best to sound chipper. "Are you new here?"

|Juliet Pratten|16|She/Her|Hermes|Location: Armoury|Tags: Aiden |

"I don't need a babysitter," Juliet snorted. She would've crossed her arms over her chest, but she still had a sword propped against her shoulder. A look of disappointment shaped her face at the mention of Capture the Flag being cancelled. "That would suck," she remarked. She had rather been looking forward to Capture the Flag. It was always a fun activity, and despite the snow, she hoped it wouldn't be cancelled or postponed. When asked about her potential prankees, Juliet sighed. "I was planning on using the Ares cabin as my victims," she confessed, well aware that Aiden had a dislike for them. The Athena counselor had allowed her pranks against the Ares cabin to slide by in the past - she was very much hoping that this would be one of those instances.

|Chuck Oakes|He/Him|Satyr|Location: Walking Towards the Big House|Tags: Jamie|

"Uh, yeah," Chuck agreed, though nervousness marked his tone. "Like, a really, really early winter." He could see the sky-blue walls of the Big House looming up ahead through the snowfall. The satyr nodded as he listened to Jamie, rubbing his bare arms to warm them up. "Like, in the winter, Mr. D and the godly dudes usually let at least a little bit of snow in. But never like, a lot. And they usually don't let it get too cold." He chuckled as he thought back on what he'd just said. "Like, 'Mr. D and the Godly Dudes'... totally sounds like a weird band name or something."

|Vivienne Isole|18|She/Her|Khione|Location: Peak of Mount Marcy/Blizzard Dreamscape|Tags: Aydan|

Vivienne studied Ayden's reactions silently, making a few mental notes as she listened to him. When asked about Khione, her heart beat a little faster. Her eyes narrowed slightly, but that was the only physical indication she allowed herself to show of her piqued interest. "I know of most of the gods and their functions," she carefully explained, unwilling to reveal too much about her connection with the snow goddess. "Why do you ask? I assume it has to do with the events you described." As she spoke, Vivienne thought back on Ayden's words. A meeting... Hmm. She'd have to send some scouts to find out what they knew. Getting a few of her minions past the camp border had been relatively easy, but the full-scale army was going to take some work.

Aydan Hunt Location: Hermes cabin Tags: Vivienne

"She's been mentioned in rumors surrounding the snowing in June. " he told her. He noticed that she was a bit more interested in the meeting than he thought she'd be. Why is that? He decided to change the subject "What's a way that I can have my mother claim me?" he asked with a bit of a sorrow filled tone in his voice. He couldn't help but be slightly disappointed that he hasn't been claimed yet. He didn't mind too much being in the Hermes cabin but he knew he didn't belong there. He didn't know where he fit in exactly, he wasn't really like the other kids in the camp.

At least she already was planning to prank the Ares cabin. "That makes this so much easier on me." Aiden didn't withhold his sigh of relief. "Yeah, whatever. You know the rules though. Get caught and you're on your own." Sometimes he felt guilty letting Juilet off the hook with so many of these pranks, but that guilt usually disappears by the time Capture the Flag or other similarly competitive games roll around. "I'm sure Chiron would have my head if he knew how many of these pranks I could have prevented. Just do me a favor with this one; nothing too over the top, especially if Capture the Flag is canceled. I wouldn't want to ruin half the camp's night over a stupid prank." He planned to leave with that, but once again Aiden caught himself at the door. "You never did tell me what it was you're planning, though." That slip-up was on his part. "That was part of the question."

Augusta Reynolds|17|she/her|Hades|the woods-the lake|tags:Aggy
August shook her head and let go as the girl pulled against her grip. “The cutlass should be the least of your worries,” She said, rolling her eyes though she quickly retrieved her weapons from the tree and the ground as well, slinging the sword over her shoulder instead of strapping it on to save time. “You need to get dried off and warmed up quickly or your going to get hypothermia. Do you have a change of clothes?” She asked, feeling slightly guilty that it had been her who caused Aggy to jump in the lake but mostly just annoyed that she’d actually done it before Auggie had had a chance to stop her.

Jamie Wallace|16|he/him|Iris|Camp|tags:Chuck
Jamie nodded along to what Chuck was saying, trying to imagine what it would be like to spend Christmas at camp. His dad seemed to get more and more paranoid about his safety every time Jamie came home, he wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up spending the holidays here soon. He felt like it was only a matter of time before his dad told him to just stop coming. Of course, Jamie was just as afraid about what could happen to him out on his own, but it’s not like terrible things couldn’t happen in camp as well. The snow was a prime example of them. His glasses had started to fog up from the moisture in the air and he took them off to wipe them on his shirt, laughing at Chuck’s comment. “Dude, that’s a sick band name! I bet they’d play something lame though like...Greek folk music or something.” He pondered, although he wasn’t sure that Greek folk music was actually a thing.
As they neared the big house, he glanced back across the snowy field they had just crossed and felt a pang of fear in his chest. “Hey man, if I were to have had some...weird dreams involving snow...that would probably just be a coincidence right? Like I was cold in my sleep and that’s what my brain came up with?” He hadn’t really wanted to bring this up, but he was freaking out to much to keep it in his own head and he was silently hoping Chuck would reassure his overthinking brain. Whatever weird stuff was going on, Jamie wanted nothing to do with it.

if only i could keep you in my pocket
to give me some diagnosis of why i'm so hollow
please give me instructions, i promise i'll follow
i tripped on my ankle and fractured my elbow
but doesn't that mean that the tour's gonna sell, though?
i try to explain the good faith that's been wasted
but after an hour, it sounds like complaining
wait, don't go away, can i lie here forever?
you say that i'm better, why don't i feel better?
the universe works in mysterious ways
but i'm starting to think it ain't working for me
doctor, should i be good, should i be good this year?

Kade Turner | Athena | Tagging: Pippa | Location: Camp

Kade had more or less drifted off into space, letting his mind wander until either someone showed up, or Pippa needed help. It wasn’t so much a matter of not wanting to be there so much as being unsure of what he was supposed to do at that point. He didn’t really have anywhere to be immediately anyway. Then she spoke, breaking into his thoughts and bringing him back to the present moment.

"Ah! It’s not a matter of not wanting to be here," Kade promised. "So much as a matter of, do you need me? I wasn’t able to tell if any of the other Aphrodite kids were around at the moment." Now that he’d snapped out of his thoughts though, he noticed the others who had joined them.

The door had not yet closed to the cabin, so Pippa rightfully stepped out to properly face Kade once more. Due to the rather awkward height difference with the help of the porch, Pippa comfortably leaned over the railing to speak to the boy.

"They just came!" she chirped, motioning to the two who had just entered the cabin. "Thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll see you around." Flashing him a grateful smile, she turned and rushed back inside, quite appreciative of the warmth the cabin held. The two were inside now, one frantically searching through her belongings to find something warmer. Pippa could respect that. She had told herself multiple times that she was glad she had worn a cardigan over her shirt. She couldn't remember if she brought a decent jacket, though. That being said, Pippa was used to colder temperatures. Some could playfully consider her immune to the chilly weather, to such a degree.

Ophelia was the dark-haired girl, and Pippa knew the other one was the head counsellor. She thanked Ophelia, who'd graciously held the door open, then turned back towards the blonde, giving a nod of her head. "I just arrived," she confirmed. These two were like models! Tall, thin, and beautiful all around. No wonder they were children of Aphrodite. Pippa was even more intrigued about her mother and what she both looked like and was like personality-wise. Though unsure of what exactly it was, Pippa sensed a bit of tension between the two girls, based on the way Ophelia was eyeing Mirabelle. Biting her lip, Pippa whipped her head back around, standing back so she could fit them both into her peripheral. "I'm not interrupting, am I?"

Skylar Kakitid, 16 years old, Female, Daughter of Hecate, 7 year camper, Location: Camp, Tags: Kenna, Hank

Skylar had been walking around hurriedly, trying to figure out who needed what spells and how she could help. After she had taught all her campers the warming spells, she sent them out to help heat the other campers. She was doing the same. Yet she also had another task, finding campers who might have dreams relating to this quest. She knew it would be announced later, but not everyone would step up in front of the entire Camp. In her opinion, this was far more reliable. She had been scanning the Camp for those who needed warmth when she spotted a flash of light. Skylar turned towards it and saw her good friend, Hank standing next to Kenna, one of the few daughters of Poseidon.

Hank waved at her and she merrily waved back and jogged over to them. Kenna looked freezing and Hank looked cold too. They probably hadn't been hit by the Hecate warming spells yet. "Hey you guys look freezing. Would you like a little warming spell? Courtesy of Cabin 20!" She smiled and gestured to the fact that she was still wearing shorts and a T-shirt in the snow. "Or I can get you guys something warmer to wear."

|Mirabelle Everhart|17|She/Her|Aphrodite|Head Counselor|Location: Cabin 10|Tags: Pippa|

"Not at all," Mirabelle assured her with a friendly smile. She glanced over at Ophelia, nodding to acknowledge the other girl's presence. She turned back to the new girl, meeting her stunningly blue eyes. "I'm Mirabelle, head counselor of the Aphrodite cabin." She gestured around them for emphasis before holding out a cold yet well-manicured hand in the caramel-haired girl's direction. "Seeing as you're new here, have you been claimed yet?" Judging by the fact that she was standing in Cabin 10, Mirabelle could guess that she had already been claimed - however, it was still good to ask. She didn't want to make any unfair assumptions, after all.

|Juliet Pratten|16|She/Her|Hermes|Location: Armoury|Tags: Aiden |

Juliet nodded as Aiden spoke. "Don't worry, I'm just gonna mess with them a little," she promised. Now that he mentioned it... if the Ares cabin was on an opposing team during Capture the Flag, her prank idea might be better used there. She snorted when he called her prank 'stupid', looking incredulous. ""Stupid!?'" the daughter of Hermes huffed. "I'll have you know that this prank is very clever. Harebrained? Maybe. Impulsive? Sure. But stupid? Nah, don't see it." An amused smile played on her lips as she regarded the Athena head counselor. "As for what I'm actually planning... I don't want to give too much away, but it should only affect the Ares guys," Juliet explained. "Gotta get back at them for destroying us in volleyball last week." She grinned a lopsided grin, shifting the weight of the sword she had propped against her shoulder. Besides, the Ares cabin was the perfect target for a prank like this - they were easily angered, and that would definitely make things more fun.

|Chuck Oakes|He/Him|Satyr|Location: Outside Big House|Tags: Jamie|

Chuck shuddered at the mention of 'Greek folk music'. "Like, I've heard a few old Greek tunes," he admitted, making a face. "Totally not my jam. Like, gimme 'Dream On' or 'Dark Side of the Moon' any day over old weird folk music." The satyr listened intently when Jamie started describing some of his dreams. His mossy green eyes grew wide, and his smile quickly faded. "Um... like, yeah, totally," he tried, though he definitely didn't sound convincing. "Aw, who am I kiddin', man," he eventually gave up. "Dreams like that are usually... like, quest-related, you know? It's not every day that a demigod has like, prophetic dreams or whatever." Thankfully, the Big House had been growing steadily closer as they walked. "Maybe we can, like, ask Chiron about it once we get inside?" Chuck suggested. If anyone was to know anything, it would be Chiron. Well, Chiron or the wine dude, but he doubted the latter would be of much help. When they reached the Big House stairs, Chuck failed to notice that small patches of ice had begun to form on the wood. He took a step onto one and immediately slipped, falling back on his butt. Thankfully, the snow provided a nice cushioning against the ground.

|Vivienne Isole|18|She/Her|Khione|Location: Peak of Mount Marcy/Blizzard Dreamscape|Tags: Aydan|

Vivienne suspected that Khione would have been implicated in the snow debacle. She blinked when Ayden abruptly changed the subject, having not necessarily expected that. Though she was reluctant to provide aid to anyone associated with Camp Half-Blood, the boy had done her a service by providing a bit of information about the camp... She figured it was only fair to return the favour. "It often depends on who your godly parent is," she explained matter-of-factly. "However, frequently, you must perform some sort of deed that renders you worthy of their attention." She thought back on her own claiming. She had become aware of her abilities far before she'd been claimed. Before her claiming, someone had been picking on Audra. Audra... her heart grew heavy at the thought. She resisted the urge to trace the forget-me-nots inked into her left wrist. Back to the thought of claiming... Young Vivienne had grown so fiercely protective and angry that she had summoned a miniature blizzard, blowing the offending demigod back with cold, sweeping winds and pounding hail and snow. Khione had seen fit to claim her at that moment; an ice blue snowflake having appeared above her head. "If you wish to be claimed, perhaps try something sizable and worth noting," she suggested offhandedly.

Aydan Hunt Location: Hermes cabin Tags: Vivienne

Aydan tapped a finger on his chin "Something worthy of their attention. " he said thinking out loud. That would be hard, the only power he knew he had was the power to freeze things. He frowned remembering the incident that had made him acknowledge that he was gifted with powers. It was a dark night and him and his dad were driving back home from visiting with Aydan's grandparents, him and his dad were in an argument about something trivial that he can't even remember now. Aydan had gotten beyond mad and ended up freezing the windshield and the road. They ended up swerving off the road and hitting a tree. Aydan suffered from a moderate concussion and a broken arm but his dad ended up going into a coma from a traumatic brain injury caused by the accident, he's been that way for a few months now. Aydan felt a tear escape before even realizing his eyes had been welling up, he quickly looked away from Juniper wiped the tear up. He looked back at her emotionless "I don't have any noteworthy powers." he stated with venom in his voice.

Emerson "Emmie" Location: Dining Hall Tags: Karter

As soon as Emerson was done she made her way over to throw out her trash. On her way to do so she ran into Karter. "Hey Karter!" she said with a warm tone and smile. "Have you eaten yet?" she asked him then looking at the muffin she had grabbed for herself as a snack for later. "Here, have this." she said reaching out to hand it to the boy.
