Josh laughed and kept tickling her, enjoying her laughter. He stopped after a while, wrapping his arms around, resting his head on her shoulder. He smiled softly and kissed her cheek.

Evelyn's laughter ended with a small snort, which made her cover her mouth. As his lips met her cheek, she felt her face go hot. Her cheeks flooded with color, which she hated because her blushing was easily noticeable on her pale-white skin. She couldn't help up smile, though.

"Okay then, whatever you say," He stood up, and looked over towards her, this had been a good start for their relationship. "And don't worry, I understand, you have nothing to be sorry about, absolutely nothing." Of course, he didn't understand, but he wished he could. He had grown up with fellow Quetzalcoatl, he had never imagined that anybody would be scared of his kind.

Josh smiled, noticing her blush. He put his lips to her ear. "I love you Evelyn.." He whispered softly. He knew it was a big leap, considering they didn't know each other very well, but he still felt that he loved her ni matter what. Like he blonged with her forever.

Evelyn looked at him, she hadn't expected him to say that. She half-smiled and glanced down, she could feel yet another blush coming on. She was glad that her hair covered her face as she looked down. "I.. I love you too.." She whispered quietly.

Ash tilted her head some as she looked at him, her hair falling over her shoulders. "No, you probably don't understand... But it's okay... I'll do my best to work on my little fears..." she said softly, offering him a small smile. She leaned back against the window, her eyes looking similar to how the sky looks just before a storm, gray with hints of blue, her eyes glittering some in the light coming through the window as she looked over at him, a hint of a smile playing across her features.

Josh gently moved the hair away from her face, still smiling a bit. He held her tighter against him, rocking slightly. He hadn't really expected her to say it, but he was happy she did. He kissed her cheek again, his cheek a bit red as well. He laid back down, pulling her with him. He let go of her for a moment and covered her up again, then re-wrapped his arms around her.

Evelyn laid besides him, her head was fixed on his chest, as she had done before. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She listened to his heart beat.

Josh smiled again and carrssed her hair gently and hummed softly. He liked the feeling of her against him. This was the first time that he really loved someone and they loved him back, for who he was.

Evelyn wrapped one arm around him. With the steady heartbeat, his soft humming, and her being tired, Evelyn found it a hard challenge to not fall sleep. She took a deep breath and slowly drifted to sleep in his arms.
