Marlyn jogged over to her Bugsy, carefully picking him up. In a few seconds his eyes opened and he let out a happy squeal. Marlyn laughed, "Just banged up is all. That was a great battle!" She grinned too, "Since Papilio evolved, Bugsy must be..." She started to say, but Bugsy interrupted her as he started to glow. Just like Papilio, he was covered in a bright white light. Slowly he expanded in his trainer's arms before the light disappeared, revealing a Kakuna.
"Kakooona." He spoke in a much deeper voice.

Notable personality traits: Short-tempered, blunt, somewhat jerkish.
General personality: As stated, his personality is basically somewhat jerkish. However, if you include all of the ‘little points’, you would sum up Marc as a jerk with a heart of gold.

Marc is your average slightly angsty teen, but with a reasonable past to back it up. Because there’s nothing wrong with a slightly abusive mum, team ’mates’, and almost nobody to look out for you, right? As such, he’s generally quite quiet, often only speaking to put his point of view across, deadpanning some information or when he feels like it. Often, he’s unafraid to voice his annoyance with various subjects, particularly about his short height (he’s roughly 5’1”) or his blond hair. Which is for some reason kept in a low ponytail and reaches about just past mid-back length.

However, like many teenagers, he has a particular side to show that he is capable of positive emotion. Unfortunately, like most angsty teenagers like him, he doesn’t show it often. He often wouldn’t smile, but when he does (aka not smirking in any way whatsoever (i.e. maliciously, sadistically, mockingly etc.)), they usually reach to his eyes. While we’re on the subject of his eyes, after he’s had a whole hearted laugh, a few seconds before he regains composure, his eyes are often fully opened and not narrowed; leaving him with a slightly babyish face one would expect from a 9 year old. Back on his happier side, Marc is usually at his happiest around his Pokemon, so if you want to catch him in a good mood, talk to him after he’s spent some time with his Pokemon. They’re the only living things he’s immediately kind to.
Likes: Strawberries, the colour green, dogs and cloudy days.
Dislikes: Public displays of affection, loud cameras and people he deems are stupid.
