Megan shot a nervous glance at Spade's father, but forced a smile. "Well thank you." She said. She took a couple more bites in silence, then looked at Spade. A question popped into her mind, but she'd thought better of asking it now. I'll save it for later. She thought.

"your welcome"he said eating some more of his food

smiled at megan and ate some more of his food

Megan collected the plates once everybody was done and set them in the sink. She grabbed Spade's hand. "Thank you for letting me stay!" She called as she looked at Spade. "Where's your bedroom?" She asked.

Spade
"uh.."he said shocked she was asking
Spade's mother
"no boys and girls in the same room"she said she was strict about the no boys and girls rule

Megan scowled but nodded. "Alright!" She called back, and looked expectantly at Spade. "Well?" She asked. "I just need to ask you something, don't get so nervous." She rolled her eyes.

"we will be in my room if you need us"he said starting to walk towards his room

"nile wont mind sharing"she said

Megan crinkled her nose up a bit as she followed Spade. Once they entered his room, she shut the door and leaned against it. "I'm sure your sister's great and everything, but I don't know where to sleep." She said, looking at her feet.

"she has another bed in her room"he said"she had a twin but she died a couple of years ago"he explained"no one has touched her stuff since"

Megan looked at Spade. "I'm sorry. About your sister, I mean... " She said. She knew this wouldn't work, she could already tell. Oh well, She thought. At least I won't be getting beaten. That thought alone relieved her.
