Cassia wanted to kill Daniel. Well obviously, that was a given, but not yet. She was more mad at this district 6 girl who thought she could toy with them. Stalking up to Daniel, she elbowed him hard in one of his knife wounds, either from Juniper or Kyra she didn't bother to tell. It was a child's mistake to step on a twig, not a career's. Didn't he learn that in training? Picking up her axe, she sprinted off in the direction she thought she saw the boy run.

It all happened so fast, the only thing he really registered was Kyra calling out for him to run. Scrambling up running as fast as he could, he didn't know where he was headed, although his injury stung him and felt like daggers shooting through his limbs as he ran. All of a sudden, he tripped, falling face first into the dirt. Leg hurting too much to get back up, the boy from 10 huddled against a tree and hoped that whatever danger Kyra warned him about was gone.

He let out another groan of pain, narrowing his eyes at Cassia. Getting up, he let out some more coughs, looking around for them. Hearing their noises, he went towards that direction.

Kyra paused, looking back to see Joshua hiding behind a tree. She could hear Cassia getting closer, and closer...Making a quick decision, she ran back. Spotting her, she skidded in front of Cassia and faced her, narrowing her eyes with her spear in hand. “...Nice seeing you again.” She snarled sarcastically. ”Be careful with your prey, sometimes they can come back stronger.”

Cassia raised an eyebrow. There stood Kyra with Avion's spear, and a chuckle escaped her lips. "I killed him ya' know. Avion. The one who oh so graciously gave you that spear." Examining the blade of her axe, she glanced up at locked eyes with Kyra, but she still didn't make her move. "And your district partner, Thorn. Of course, Daniel and I killed him together, his head came right off." Searching the girl's face for a reaction, Cassia continued. "Oh and this morning- I personally killed the two youngest tributes in the games. Killing them was no issue, darling why would you be any different?" Letting out one last laugh Cassia unsheathed the blade on her new bracelet and readied her axe. "Here's the thing about that. Prey runs away... and the predators fight. And the predators always win." Cassia hissed before lunging at Kyra with her double-sided battle axe.

Kyra let out a war cry in return, launching towards Cassia. Beside her for a faint second, everyone that was watching could’ve sworn they saw all the dead tributes, watching Kyra...Melanie...Thorn...Avion...But within a blink of an eye, they all disappeared, and all Cassia could see in the dark of the night was Kyra’s seemingly haunting diamond blue eyes, full of only one thing: CONFIDENCE. She wasn’t about to let Joshua get hurt again! NEVER! She swung her spear towards Cassias side as a distraction, then went slicing towards her shoulder right afterwards.

Cassia yelled in pain as Kyra sliced her shoulder. That was it, she was no longer messing around. It was harder to swing the axe when her dominant shoulder was hurt, but Cassia had fought with worse before in training. Grunting, Cassia saw something in Kyra's eyes, a passion, determination. That would make the fight twice as hard. Summoning the strength and agility her muscles knew so well from constant combat training, Cassia ran at her with the axe, before quickly pulling it back and quickly extending her foot to kick Kyra in the jaw instead.

She would cough, a new bruise appearing right under her chin. Letting out a fury exhale, she flung another one of her knives towards Cassia, followed by another, before picking up her spear and swinging it towards her. “YOU LITTLE-“ Kyra cursed to her in rage, her hair getting ragged.

Cassia's face broke into a grin as Kyra got angry, but then she started throwing dangerous weapons at her. Dodging the first knife, and the sword, Cassia yelled as one of the knives lodged into her thigh. If she pulled it out, it would start to bleed, but it could cause more damage staying inside her thigh, so she pulled the blood-soaked knife out of her thigh with a scream. However, Cassia's eyes lit up, when Kyra had thrown her weapons, she had practically given them over to her. Of course, Cassia couldn't hold four weapons at once, so she stood over them, as if taunting Kyra to come pick them up.

It took her a second to realize that Cassia now had all of her weapons, and another to look over at her, hesitant at first...Before she grunted and launched towards her like a rabid animal, pouncing onto her and falling onto the ground with her. She would try to strain her down, grunting as they rolled around and wrestled with one another. All throughout this, Kyra was hoping that Daniel hadn't found Josh, or hoped that he was ok...

Cassia was getting tired of this. This girl had been a pain in her side since the first day and she needed to kill her once and for all. Normally hand to hand combat would've been difficult for Cassia as she preferred to fight with weapons rather than her fists, but she thankfully for the gift her mentor gave her. Since she had already unsheathed the blade in the bracelet she tried to stab it into Kyra's next, although it was harder as they were both on the ground.
