"Some kind of metal trap...I don't know what it was for specifically but I do know it most likely crushed my foot. I can't tell until my boot is taken off," he stated before shifting uncomfortably. The elf shuddered at the memory. "The bleeding has long since stopped...I don't know if it were poisoned or not."

Húlden began to gallop Esaw to the city of Rivendell, as that was said to be a major place in the Kings vision. (I'm going do a time skip o when she is at Rivendell XD)

Húlden rode into the city and called out, not to anyone in particular, addressing all the elves. "I bring urgent need from the king of Rohan! Where is lord Elrond?" she called out.

"sounds like bear trap it may have been poisoned if thats case it's likely a low strength poison which means it isn't lethal but it should be easily curable if thats the case and we'll probably have to cut that boot off of you anyway so be aware that you going to lose a pair of boots" she said and added "I will be honest with i wasn't even sure you'd accept my suggestion our people haven't always gotten along" she said trying to change the subject he was probably worried about his foot she was concerned for him.

Elrond had just come back from scouting the surrounding area, killing any nearby orc hoards...if there were any of course. Orcs normally did not stray close to Rivendell so they weren't much of an issue. Wargs on the other hand were a major pest. Most of them were dumb and attacked anything it saw, including other wargs. The elvenlord urged his horse forward so he was at the same pace as Hulden, "I am right here Hulden. What seems to be the issue?"

(I'm sorry if I failed at Elrond, its my first time roleplaying him XD He's so serious most of the time but also kinda goofy at random times so its kinda weird to roleplay)

Thranduil didn't like the thought of not having boots...it was rather cold this time of year. Thankfully there was no snow on the ground, but that could change at any time. He sighed as she changed the subject, though he understood what she meant, "I accepted because I don't wish for my people to be destroyed...and maybe to rekindle our friendship. I've failed enough people in my lifetime."

"I used to think you where like your father cold and unfriendly but your definitely not like him" she said and smiled at him and added "i find rather attractive to be honest though I doubt you have any idea what i mean by that. My son seems to like you he lost his father at young age a week after helrenthrad was born he died. So i have been raising helrenthrad on my own. Do me a favor and let helrenthrad cuddle with you my hand is broken." Saelweth said she had wanted to say that for a while she figured now was as good a time as any to tell him given that they might die if they weren't rescued.

Helrebthrad moved over to thranduil and seemed to poke him just in the arm he wanted to be held and his mother was unable to hold him with her broken hand.

"Hello Lord Elrond," she said to him, giving a little bow," I bring news from the king of Rohan. He has had a vision foreshadowing an oncoming darkness, and your kingdom was mentioned as one of the first to be targeted." Unlike the king of the Woodland realm, Húlden somewhä knew Lord Elrond, making her more at ease. She then quickly added "Also, King Thranduil of Mitkwood has Ben abducted by orcs and I am looking for any sort of help you or your people can muster."

"Father was rather......intimidating," he admitted, surprised by the compliment. The king smiled softly at Helrenthrad, cuddling him like he use to with Legolas when he was much younger. "I can't imagine why he likes me, I tend to scare off almost everyone I meet." Thranduil frowned slightly, but never mentioned the horrible scar he concealed with a glamour. He would probably scare both of them off if they saw it.

(awwe, poor Thranduil's being self-conscious right now xD)

Elrond frowned, not liking the news one bit. "We will send a search party at dawn. Get some rest, you'll need all your strength for tomorrow."

Húlden nodded and asked "Who shall you send? I can alert them if you would like." She smiled lightly though worry flooded her heart and eyes. She stroked her horses sleek, chestnut neck. He blew through his nose then spun to face Lord Elrond. He began to chew at his long black hair. "ESAW!" she screamed at the stallion, "I am sorry Lord Elrond! He is still a baby learning his place in the world!" She smacked his rump as to punish him. The stallion reared and spun on his hind legs. He took of bucking and had Húlden holding on for dear life. He stopped suddenly then reared again. She slipped out of the tack and hit the ground hard. "Oof!" she grunted as she hit the ground. Esaw began to sniff her face, then began to nibble her nose. Shooting pain soared up her left side. She could see blood starting to soak through her tunic. She grunted and cluched her wounded side. "Silly horse..." she murrmured. She slowly got up, holding her side. She tried to show no pain despite the horrendous pain hurting her side. She slowly slid back into the tack. She kept one hand on her side as she rode back to Lord Elrond. "Sorry about that Lord Elrond! I do-" she cut of as another wave of searing pain shot up her side, "-n't know what happened there..."

"Are you alright?" Elrond asked, though he was slightly stunned by the horse's utterly random behavior. In his six thousand years of living he's never seen a horse behave as...oddly...as this one.
