"'Great warrior'?" Silas laughed. "What, did you manage to trick an ares kid into here?" The friendly banter came easily, and he inwardly relaxed. Yeah, it's good to be back. "Nice to see you too, Raine. Nothing much going on around camp, as far as I can tell." He shrugged. "New kids, old kids, unclaimed kids, they're all the same after a while." He paused a moment, glancing out one of the few windows. "How was winter?"

Chris saw a light nearby, and he hastily grew an grape vine bush around his, hoping the thing following him wouldn't notice that grape vine bushes didn't exist. The thin tendrils bore sweet berries. He knew it was stupid, but he plucked a berry, causing the bush to rustle.
