"Yeah," I muttered, standing up. The shadow was gone now. "We've got a problem. And I don't mean my hand," I added. "The problem is that a shadow, something you can't touch, something not physical, was able to do this." I held out my palm, my face grave.

"Maybe they are phsyical." Atario said. She looked around at the group as though they must've already thought of the same thing, but seeing that they hadn't, she continued. "What if these are monsters, aliens from another world, but their phsyical form has been molded and manipulated to look like just a shadow."
