Isobel looked at her glass before looking back at Elijah. "I was here to meet Elena but she seems to be elsewhere. What about you?"

"A friend from the past turned up in this godforsaken town." He said glancing over to the unoccupied booth the two were sitting in moments before. "And now she's gone again. Great." Elijah sighed as he turned back to face th bar and requested another drink.


Claudia strolled out of the grill and sat in her car just outside. She looked at her phone and saw the 12 missed calls and the 20 text messages mostly originating from Jinksy's phone. She threw her phone onto the passenger seat and opened her laptop to hack into some childish online game and make her the winner of them all.
(Btw, Claudia is open for anyone.)

Isobel turned to look at the booth Elijah was staring at and blinked. "Oh sorry. I hope I didnt interupt anything." She said softly.

Hayley looked at him feeling stupid for saying this. "Do you love me?"

"No, it's fine. I knew she would run eventually." Elijah muttered as he took a swig of his drink. "Well, i'm gonna be here drinking probably all day so if you'd like you can drink with me until the fair Elena arrives, if ever." He proposed to the girl next to him. "I promise I won't bite."

Isobel laughed softly. "Trust me I'm not scared. I live with Damon and Stefan so none of it's new to me." She replied downing another glass.

Elijah chuckled at the amusing comment. "Well then. Are you drinking something heavier or not?" He said as he picked up a bottle of whiskey from over he bar and poured a section of it into his glass.
