((@ L o v e, your form looks mostly good, sorry to be nitpicky but you spelled the keyword wrong
The next character made MUST join Workshop 3 or I won't accept it.I'd like to make a little note on manas, since I probably didn't give them a good enough description before. I'll add this to the front page later, but I'll say it now so everyone currently knows what I have to say.
Manas come in three types. Attack, defense, and assist. What your mana is is completely up to you, but they still all work the same as a catalyst for your magic and alchemy. But as for what they do themselves, let me explain, using my own characters.
Rarity has Elusive, an Attack type. Instead of Rarity fighting, Elusive takes on an attack form and fights for her, with her commanding it. He'll cast spells to mainly attack things or augment himself. Rarity won't get into battle at all, but rather cheer him on from behind. If he gets KO'ed, so does she, though. That's how a mana contract works. You're bound to each other. Yes, you may fight alongside your mana if it's an attack type, and it may cast augments on you if you like. Attack types are good for weak characters who do not wish to fight at all.
Cecil has a defense type. Cecil will fight for himself using a weapon and magic, and Kuppuru will cast mainly defensive augments, and heal spells. This kind of mana doesn't fight, but helps out a whole party in battle and casts resistances, defenses, and can heal. These types are good for those who wish to help and heal the party, and are generally attracted to kind souls.
Rylarra has an assist type. Naldetha doesn't fight, but casts offensive boosts and elemental boosts for Rylarra. Rylarra fights for herself, mainly using Naldetha's provided fire magic and attack spells alongside her weapon of choice. They can also merge to boost their power, but this takes a lot of energy. Assist types generally work for already strong characters, to simply boost the strength they already have and allow them to cast magical spells.
None of this interferes with your alchemy, normal magical casting ability, or daily life. It just affects combat. If you have a problem with any of this, message me personally. Once you have picked a type for your mana, please stick to it. If you wish to have a hybrid, talk to me about it, but no mana can do all three. I'm sorry I didn't talk about all this before. *bows and apologizes profusely*
Anyways. I'll do my character posts next. I hope you're all having fun in here, and if you're not, message myself, or Stormy, to let us know what's wrong so we can help you. Thank you for reading this note.
