Hello there. :) I'm incredibly sorry for my disappearence from this website, but I have had NOOOO time to do things like this. XD I've been so busy. But some of my activities will slow down come Winter, so I think I'll be able to come back. But there's one problem. This account is REALLY cluttered. :/ I hate having 43 pages of pointless/dead roleplays and things. And I've let it sit inactive for a while, so it is kind of pointless. I'm hopefully going to have the same username, so come friend me! :"D

||Freak||

Freak's hand clenched into a fist as Aasiyah reported that Varias had gotten out. First Daniel, now him. Who was going to be next? His creatures were beginning to turn on him. Test his authority. He was going to have to show them what would happen if they defied his law. Make his punishments more severe. Their number was increasing, and they were getting cocky. He was going to have to tighten the leash he had on all of them. Or incidents like this would keep happening.
Before he could respond to what the girl had said, she turned on her heel and fled the room, darting up the stairs. She was probably afraid of him yelling at her and wanted to get out of the room. He shook his head and turned back to Daniel, who seemed to be getting more feeling back. "I haven't had to use that on anyone else before," he said, laughing slightly. "But you're different than anyone I've ever had. Determined. Passionate. And easily angered. I kind of hope I was like you when I was your age. Minus the anger part."
Freak brought his hands up to his face and pushed his hair behind his ears, sighing. He could never have been like Daniel. He didn't know much about his childhood, but he assumed that he was at least mildly similar to what he was now. And if that was true, he couldn't have been like Daniel. The two were practically polar-opposites. Sure, he was passionate about his plan. And determined to keep it secret. But Daniel was passionate and determined about everything. He didn't just go for his main goal. He went for that and everything around it.
Freak sighed again and listened as Daniel asked a question. "What is it meant to do?" he asked, confused. "All it's really supposed to do is keep you from burning me or the buidling down while we talk. You have quite a history of burning things. Two buildings and a worker just today." Freak laughed a bit at the end, acting like it was all in the past. But that wasn't true. He was still angry about it. He simply didn't know how to punish him for it just yet.
Freak raised his eyebrows at Daniel when he asked about reading. It was only then that he fully understood how much his creatures had left behind. They didn't just leave their families. They left their whole lives. They couldn't even read freely anymore. He could see clearly now how the creatures thought he had taken that away from them. Why they were all so angry. "Yes, I read. Not much anymore, though. This has become my life. I lost things when I came here, too. Not as much as you, of course. But I didn't have much to begin with, he said.
For a moment, Freak questioned weather or not he should tell Daniel about his ability. Sure, it was small. Sure, he never used it. But should he tell him about something like that? After a few moments of thinking, he decided to go ahead and tell him. "I wouldn't even call it an ability. It's nothing. I never even use it. But I have telekinesis. It's not very powerful. I can only use it to lift things lighter than a small rock," he said, tracing his scars absentmindedly. "Anything more than that and I risk passing out."
Freak decided to ignore Daniel's "It's starting" comment for now. He wasn't quite sure what he meant by it, but he could guess it wasn't something good. And for now, he wanted to refrain from talking about negative things. His gaze flickered across the room for a few moments, catching the open door. He didn't want Daniel to try to make a run for it; he already had Varias on the loose. Using all of his concentration, the door slowly closed shut. When he heard it latch, he sighed and relaxed agaisnt the wall, wiping the sweat off of his forehead. That had taken much more energy than he thought.
Once again, Freak raised his eyebrows at Daniel when he asked about his parents. "Like I said, I don't remember my childhood. But I'm pretty sure they were out of the picture long before I turned 18. I checked my records, and I entered the foster care system when I was 14. I saw a picture of me on the document; I already had all the scars. Which just leads me to believe more that one of my parents was abusive."
Freak had to think for awhile before he could answer Daniel's final question. His first memory? Everything was pretty blurry. He didn't really have a first memory. "Before I came here, I worked at the hospital in the city. The first thing I remember is working there. I remember it was raining, and I was kind of angry about it. It made it harder for the cars carrying the wounded soldiers to get into the hospital. Pretty dumb thing to be angry about, huh?" he asked, laughing. "The hospital I worked at took in a lot of wounded soldiers from the war. Which is why I wasn't recruited for the army, even though I was 19. I think I took the job in the first place so I wouldn't have to go."

If he couldn’t use his ability then all he could really rely on was his strength, not that he was super strong anyway. Compared to a healthy teenager his age he was most likely weak, but it was expected when someone lived here. Under the conditions that Freak had set in place, here he was average. What he was happy about was the fact that others had started to rebel. Sooner or later they would all be fighting against Freaks forces, he wouldn’t say anything now since he was so close to Freak but the small smile on his face managed to stay put.

Hearing Freak talk he raised his eyebrows before looking at the man. “I feel flattered that I was the first then, though next time I was thinking that I might just make sure my waist up protected by fire.” Daniel muttered, slowly moving a hand up and running it through his hair. He couldn’t help but let a small smile appear on his face when he heard Freak’s comment next, the smile was accompanied by a small frown. What was he doing? “It’s amazing because I thought for a second that it sounded a little like you, no offense but I don’t want to be like you” Daniel muttered, thinking about the passionate and determined parts of Freak. Where they similar? He had gotten those traits from his brothers and sister. It didn’t help when some of his brothers disappeared but it only made him a little more determined and what not.

One thing was for sure, he knew well enough that he had a short temper. At times when he was around Freak it would just flare and he would lose control of everything. Blind anger. It always seemed to get the better of him, no matter how hard he tried to calm down. “I don’t know the anger part gives you a reason to throw fireballs at others” Daniel joked when he replied to Freak. Sure this would probably be the time that he was trying his best not to do anything harmful but it seemed odd. Odd, because he was actually talking to someone for more than five minutes. Having a decent conversation with them, it felt weird.

He listened intently as he talked about the room and what it was able to do. His eyes flashed with an unspeakable emotion for a mere second before staying trained on Freak. “All of those were your fault” Daniel muttered cheekily. He really was just joking around a little but shrugged more feeling coming back into his legs and hands. “I was aiming for you when we were in the buildings but you had ninja reflects, Aasiyah kind of dared me to burn her and so I did” Daniel muttered thinking about saying something else but didn’t say anything. “I think it’s a record today” he added after a few minutes before looking up at Freak. It was then that a question popped into his head. “Do you think that if I heated some of the bars of the cage up, to a high enough temperature that I could bend the bars somehow?” he asked curiously. He had thought of it before but it was better to ask now since he didn’t want to test it out and fail dramatically.

“I personally think next time I could try and break the record” Daniel muttered smiling when he said it to see if he could get a reaction out of Freak. A silence seem to settle between them and during it he thought for a few minutes, until Freak’s voice interrupted his thoughts. Looking the man in the eye he glanced down before looking around a little, his gaze finally landing on Freak once more. “You don’t happen to have a book anywhere do you? Last book I can remember was something about Pinocchio? Some wooden boy wanting to become a real boy. I’m not to sure, but that was before I was here… “ Daniel trailed off. Sure he probably wasn’t good at reading but it was better than doing nothing? Besides it was interesting, a small plan appeared in his mind but he shook the thought away.

It was interesting to hear what Freak’s ability was but he couldn’t help but laugh a little when he talked about passing out. He had pushed his creatures until they were to exhausted to walk at times and yet he stopped when he passed out? “I find it hard to believe that you don’t push yourself to the max when you push everyone else to the max. Maybe you need your own coach?” He asked a small smile forming on his face before his head snapped in the direction of the door. “Did you lock yourself in?” he asked after a second, he thought about getting up and moving over to the door but wasn’t to sure, so stayed down. Testing a thought he reached an arm forward and pushed Freak on the shoulder seeing if the man would go down or not. “Try and open the door” Daniel said looking at the door than back at Freak.

Tilting his head to the side he rested it against his door before looking at Freak. “You never know, it might not be the answer. For all you know you and your parents might of gotten separated and you got taken by some not to friendly people. You know what, we should go on a trip and see if we could track down your past” Daniel said. It was a good idea for a few reasons, one would be that he finally got a chance to get out of the felicity. Even if he was under the watch of Freak. “Were you a doctor?” he asked slightly fascinated if he was since he worked at a hospital.

Varias got up from the ground, his legs were stiff from sitting down. He would be here for a while, that worker said... For a while, so not forever. At some point he would be back with the others. And then they could work on a plan to get out. He knew what he had to know. How the world outside the walls looked like, and how the guards would try to stop them. He had to get stronger, control his powers better. Change the surrounding longer. Change the smells to confuse the dogs... And the others had their powers to help him. They had to join forces to get out.
He grinned. Freak made a big mistake by training them. Didn't he knew that he was training ticking timebombs?

Soren spun in circles in his cage, his ears pinned and his head lowered. A low growl came from his throat as the large wolfhound paced around and around. He was unable to sit still tonight, and it was making him frustrated. The constant clicking from his claws was probably pretty annoying to the other inhabitants around him as well, but he didn't really care about that.

Thoughts and memories whirled through his mind at a million miles an hour, confusing and making Soren even more irritated. He hated when that happened. Sometimes, he couldn't control his mind. Memories long forgotten would spring up out of nowhere and haunt him. It was as if his subconscience liked putting him through the misery of some of his horrifying memories.
Image

A sudden helpless feeling creeped over the Irish Wolfhound, and Soren froze in his tracks. No matter what he did, he would always be at the mercy of someone else. The thought sent a shiver of sorrow through his heart, and he sat down heavily. A small, gentle whine came from his throat as he laid his head down on his paws, his ears drooped.

{|Personal Information|}

Username:
Name: Ryu (Rhy-you) is the only name she knows
Nicknames: There isn't much room for creativity with such a short name, but some call her 'Rhy'
Gender: Female
Age: 18, maybe. There is room to guess, she could be as young as 16 or as old as 20.
Ability: She can manipulate her body into several forms, her favorite being birds of prey and canines. Ryu has to 'learn' each form, and that usually takes years. As she grows older, her ability to learn new animals has declined.

{|What You See|}

Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Purple/blue
Height: 5'5
Weight: 110 lbs
Skin Type: Pale
Body Type: Ryu is an extremely slender girl; her body seeming impossibly thin in most places. When she was younger, she was but a skeletal wisp of a child. If anyone had seen her as a young girl, they'd have thought Ryu to be an anorexic, but the amount of food she could (and still can) consume is astounding. But now, as a young adult, Ryu's body has developed slender curves, still keeping her elvish shape. Her body is that of someone who obsessively monitors their weight, though she still consumes an absurd amount of food and is absolutely unconcerned with her figure.
Body Modifications or Scars: Ryu has fashioned her ears into points after seeing a painting of an elf when she was young, and has made her canines into sharp points. Her body is covered in many small, faint scars form her childhood, hardly noticeable against her alabaster skin. One scar, however, stands out painfully; a long white streak slicing across her back from her left shoulder to her right hip. Ryu got it from panicking at her moment of capture.

{|The Inside of Me|}

Personality: Due to her bringing up (or lack of), Ryu's mind works in a different way than most other human or creature's, best described as a cold, animal cunning. When she has to, she can hold a very sophisticated conversation, but prefers silence. Ryu is a grave, calculating young woman. She has a hunter's instinct and a somewhat vicious streak, and is outwardly cold and closed-off. The pride and majesty that is evident in many predatory animals is evident in Ryu as well. She does not speak often, and prefers to keep away from anything resembling a human, being antisocial by circumstance of her childhood. The only humanoid that Ryu seeks approval from is Freak, and even then, she doesn't hold any living being on an emotional level. Call her sociopathic if you wish, but without any human memories, she sees no value in human sentiments.
History: Both of her parents and all of her siblings were killed in the war that took most of the humans on earth, leaving an orphaned and amnesia-stricken Ryu to survive on her own. The only things that Ryu can remember of her life before her head injury are her first name and some English. A five-year old at the time, Ryu used her shifting powers to resemble the forest creatures that she saw. Over the course of the next five years, she lived mainly as either a falcon or a wolf, satisfying her veracious appetite with smaller animals and, in her human form, a variety of plants and berries.
It seemed as though she would live in that remote wilderness forever, but shortly after her tenth birthday (which passed unnoticed) Freak somehow found her. Ryu managed to lead Freak on a wild chase for about a week, but was finally caught in a net trap on the sixth day of the pursuit. Thrashing around wildly, she caught her back with a sharp stick and passed out from bloodloss and panic.
For the next three years in captivity, Ryu behaved as a feral animal, refusing to speak or even dress herself. But slowly, she became tamer and more settled, and began to use the clothing provided for her. Soon, she was even speaking, singing, and -despite herself- began craving Freak's attention as a domestic dog would. As soon as her training and conditioning was finished, she became a worker and enjoys helping Freak take care of the other creatures.
Likes:
•   Quiet/ time by herself
•   Listening to music, even if she has to make it herself
•   Drawing
Dislikes:
•   Loud noises from the other creatures
•   Being forced to do things (not to be confused with a dislike of following Freak's orders; Ryu sees him as her 'alpha' and will gladly carry out his orders)
•   Being touched
Strengths:
•   Singing. She is very musically inclined
•   Fighting
•   Art
Weaknesses:
•   Ryu has a short attention span and is easily frustrated.
•   Making friends or communicating in general
•   Due to her isolation as a child, she finds it difficult to differentiate between right and wrong. That being said, Ryu is a compulsive liar.

{|Other|}

Anything I've Forgotten:
Ryu does feel every human emotion, but she doesn't value them as most humans or human-like beings do.

||Freak||

Fatigue was starting to ebb at the corners of Freak's mind when Daniel began to speak again. Closing that door had really taken an affect on him. He hadn't used his ability in a while, though. And if he did, it was for very simple things. Like this morning, when he turned the knob on the faucet. It was a tiny thing. He didn't usually use his ability for big things, since it took so much energy. It was easier just to do it by hand. But Daniel had asked.
Daniel's words flew through his head as Freak tried to think of a response. Protecting himself with fire would do nothing but waste energy. There were plenty of other places he could use to knock him out. But he decided not to say anything about it. "I doubt I was like you at all, Daniel. Adults are usually similar to what they were as children, and if that's true, I was nothing like you. We're complete opposites. I just hope I had some of your good qualities."
Freak brought his knees up to his chest and rested his head on them, sighing. Fatigue was transferring over to exhaustion, and his energy level was still dropping. He felt worse than he had earlier that morning, when the migrane had hit. When Daniel mentioned that all the things he had done were his fault, he laughed through the tiredness. "So it's my fault for having good reflexes?" he asked. He had to have good reflexes. Otherwise, he had a very high chance of getting killed every day, especially during the training sessions. A spear could be thrown the wrong way and he would be dead.
Freak clenced his right hand into a fist when Daniel began to talk about melting the cage bars. He was still thinking about escaping. He still wanted to start a rebellion. He still needed to be watched. Carefully watched. And if he stepped too far over the strict line Freak had set, he would have to be killed. He couldn't take that much of a risk, no matter how powerful he was. "Technically, I suppose you could. But I bought those cages specifically with the intent of keeping you creatures in it without you escaping. And they're built to do that. It would take about 6 hours under a very high temperature for the bars to melt. Which, for you, would probably mean 6 hours of running your hands up and down one bar. It would just be a waste of energy. You probably wouldn't last that long, anyway."
Freak hoped Daniel was just kidding when he talked about breaking his record. He was very close to stepping over the line. And he would only let the boy step over so much before it became too much. He really had to watch himself. When he redirected the conversation towards Pinocchio, Freak lifted his head up to look at him. "That's an old story," he said, raising his eyebrows. "I'm surprised it's survived so your generation can hear it. But yes, I'm sure we have it around here somewhere. Aasiyah has a library, and if you try not to burn it down, I could take you there sometime." With that, the man layed his head back down on his knees, more exhausted from the effort.
At the moment, Freak wasn't even considering moving. When Daniel shoved him and asked him to open the door, all he got was a groan. "Where do you think I got the idea to train you so hard from? Of course I pushed myself. Before the war ended. I trained every day. Pushed myself harder than I would dare do to any of you. But when the war ended, I stopped. I wasn't making any real progress. I had an ability in the beginning, but it was extremely weak. I couldn't even lift a pebble. I trained for 10 years, and this is all the better I got. I can't even close a door without feeling exhausted. I buried the dream of getting better a long time ago and threw myself into you. And I don't want to dig it back up."
Freak sighed and ran his hands through his hair. Just like Daniel's family seemed to be to him, his ability was a soft subject. He gave it up 15 years ago, and he had never looked back. And that was the way he liked it. Although the talk of Freak's ability had left him feeling bruised, he laughed when the boy spoke about going on an adventure to find his past. "I did that a few years ago. Tried to figure out my past. I didn't find out very much. Just that I was in the foster care system. I got moved around a lot; there were many different addresses on the paper they gave me. I went to a few of them, but most of them are long gone. Locations abandonded due to pollution."
Freak was a bit confused about Daniel's enthusiasm at his mention of working in the hospital. Did he want to go into the medical field or something? Regardless, he still had to answer his question. "No, I was just an assistant. But I was treated like a doctor. Back then, more people were dying than were being sent to war, and the hospital was constantly being flooded with wounded soldiers. They needed more doctors than they had. So I was treated like a doctor more often than I was an assistant."

Aasiyah Sari Valeska || Worker

It was late, nearly ten at night, when Aasiyah made her way back to where Freak and Daniel were at. She hadn’t heard a peep from them since she left and she was starting to worry.
Opening the door was a pain for her, knowing full well that she was about to lose what she would most likely need to get both of them out in one piece. Slipping into the room, she heard the last bit of Freak’s story.
“And then he met me,” Aasiyah spoke at the right moment. She made her way between Freak and Daniel and refused to budge.

Ryu yawned, tired from a long day of work. Though she needed very little sleep to function properly, even beast-girls get exhausted. She'd mostly been patrolling the buildings, but by her third loop Ryu had ducked back into the worker's quarters for a meal. After scarfing down nearly a quarter of the contents of the fridge, she returned to restlessly pacing the halls, leading her to her current position; crouching like a frog on her bed, blearily scanning the room.
She sat like that, observing her surroundings in a way that seemed both casual and intently, her eyes half-lidded yet sparkling. Ryu noticed a wrinkle in the blanket on Freak's bed, so she extended one slender arm and smoothed the fold.
Curling back into her crouching position, Ryu sighed and picked at a loose thread in her own unruly bed. She'd arranged the covers into what could only be described as a nest, leaving one blanket loose so she could cover herself on the colder nights. Hardly knowing what she was doing at this point, Ryu slowly leaned back and squirmed deeper into her nest, falling into a trancelike half-sleep.
