"Good idea but don't talk anymore." Hale bit her lip and tried to get up. She clenched her teeth, hissing at the pain in her leg. "Maybe sitting down wasn't the best idea." She noticed that her shoulder was bleeding as well and scowled.
Zek turned to Sean. "Empathy link?"

Logan picked him up, "Where's that?"

"No, we need to find out who he has a empathy link with" Sean said

Zek frowned. "How do we figure out who that is?" He walked over to Hale and helped her up, careful of her leg and shoulder.
Hale looked up at Logan but once again quickly looked away. "We'll show you the way." The cousins slowly started in the infirmary.

"Only Tom would know. See, an empathy link is a link with someone else, They get hurt, you get the same injury, they die, you die. This injury just appeared on his back, which means he has an empathy link with someone that has the same injury.

Hale froze and looked over at Sean. "Did you just say it's someone with the same injury?" Zek's eyes widened as he realized what she was implying.

"Sean, the only person here as far as I know with an injury on their back besides Tom is Zek here." Hale said.
Zek stared at his cousin. "Hale, what you're implying is crazy!"
