Chloe walked into the arena, she wondered what in Ares name was going on? She looked around and finally spotted Azura. The two had been friends for a long time and Azura had been here longer this summer then she had. Chloe almost hadn't come this summer but she just keep bring monster to terrorize her mother. She sighed and swaggered over as any true child of Ares would.

Azura looked up and noticed Chloe, she smiled and stood, hugging her friend. "I'm glad you came Chloe," Azura said. Chloe smiled sadly, "I was just cause more problems." Azura nodded understanding, "How's your mom?" "No better," Chloe said. "But no worse. I wish there was something I could do, I can kill ancient mythical monsters but I can do nothing against cancer!" Chloe sat down on the bench, her eyes glinting dangerously. Azura slipped an arm around Chloe's shoulder, "I wish their was something I could do too."
Chloe sighed and motioned around them, "What's going on?" Azura chuckled, "The Oracle walked all the way down to stop a capture the flag game to give an prophecy." "A prophecy?" Chloe asked, mildly curious. "I don't remember the words, but it has something to do with death's gate and the curse of Aeolus. Six are suppose to go," Azura said. "Someone is suppose to die." "Aren't all prophecies usually about someone dying?" Chloe asked, her curiosity satisfied.

History: Sam was living with her mom in Florida, when a freak storm hit her house and they were forced to move somewhere else. They moved to a small town in Texas but were they lived peacefully until Sam and her friend Omar decide to ahh... 'borrow' a police cruiser and take it for a spin in the mall's water fountain. It was a hilarious joke until the police officer turned into a huge snake-looking guy with fangs, scales, the works; and kept yelling he was going to tear her head from her shoulders. Sam was freaked out by just that but she really thought she was crazy when her friend Omar took his pants off and had furry donkey legs. After a looong dragged out fight scene and tears and confusion they left for New York. A few weeks later and they were climbing up Half-Blood Hill.

Chloe studied Val, "Who's she?" Azura looked over, "That's Valeriana Pierce, daughter of the roman god Aeolus. She showed up a couple of days ago." "A roman?" Chloe said. "Why would a Greek prophecy be about a roman demi-god?" "I don't know," Azura said. "She's okay though, seems to have every rapid mood changes though." Chloe snorted and continued the stare.

Seth looked up at Dresyn, "Nah, man. You called it, and I'm sure you need to get out more than I do." I grinned, though you could see a tiny spark of sadness in it. "Plus if I went out, there would be some major trouble. Come on, I mean what monster or girl wouldn't want a slice of this handsome man-candy." He flexed his arms, trying to lighten the mood and cover up his emotions. "Anyway if I went out I might mess up my pretty face in a fight." He chuckled, forcing himself to stand up. He stiffly walked down the bleachers. "Imma hit the showers, I'm sure that after a cool shower I'll feel better and be able to see you guys off." He said with another sad grin before he walked off.


"Jimminy cricket, Omar! You said it would only take a couple of hours to get here by plane, why did we have to walk!" Sam groaned as she walked up a tall steep hill with a large pine tree at the top.
"Yeah, but that was before the pilot turned out to be killer Cyclops with gastrointestinal problems!" Omar groaned back.
"Hehe yeah, but that was actually kinda funny." Sam giggled.
"What was? The part were he blew the whole freakin' plane sky high when he cut the chess, or the part were he blew fire out of his mouth and nearly singed my furry tail off?" Omar grumbled.
"Both." Sam snickered.
"Anyway... We're here.. finally..." Omar sighed as the two reached the top of the hill. They stood next to a huge pine tree. Omar nearly jumped out of his skin when Sam leaned against the tree. "Ah! Don't touch that!" He yelped. Sam quickly staggered away from the tree. "What will it explode!" She yelped quickly jumping away from it.
"No! That's Thalia's Pine... She was the daughter of Zeus..." He whispered before he looked back at Sam, who was scowling at him for nearly giving her a heart attack.
"Come on, let's get inside the Property Line before some more monsters come after us..." Omar sighed.
Sam nodded and quickly followed after her satyr friend. "Hey Omar..."
"Yeah?" He replied.
"I'm... I'm scared..." She muttered, gritting her teeth.

Dresyn came over and caught Seth's shoulder, seeing it. "Seth, you need to get out of here. More than I. I'm the one who was stuck in the forges most of my life. I know that you want to go out there. I'd rather stay. Besides, you have family to protect. I can't do that." Dresyn waved his hand in front of his face to emphasize how blind he was. "Besides, they'll need someone other than Valeriana to actually ask for help. You guys can't go by ground."
