Kirose blinked as Chayse sank into the couch beside her. "I'll continue introductions later." She muttered, and hopped off the couch. She sent the same glance back to Fang. Much too many cheery faces, really annoyng. When she was out the door she glanced back over her shoulder. "I'm sleeping on the roof, no one else can be there." She said, then snapped her wings open and leapted into the air. I'd rather sleep there than inside where I'll be smoothered by cheeriness.

MAX

I was still tense and ready to explode after the fight had dissapated, and after I had moved back into the house. I was a bit relieved, though, to find out that things were going...smoothly as they could, I guess. At least no one was screaming at the top of their lungs or on fire. That's a good thing, right? I sighed, running my fingers through my hair, then leaned against the doorway, watching everyone. I smirked slightly when Kirose moved to the roof; I had to sympathize with her on that. I didn't know if I'd be able to take all of these new avians either, but hey, I'm the leader. It's my job.

I winced suddenly, my left arm shooting out to latch onto the couch before I could fall, my eyes scrunching shut, my lips pressing together in a tight line. Oh, God, not another one. I literally bit my tongue to keep from screaming when the pain hit in full force, blasting my brain into billions of agony-filled pieces like a freight train. I fell to my knees and hunched over, breathing in tight hisses, not able to think of anything but the pain, because of the pain.

JACOB

I entered the house a bit warily at first, but quickly dismissed any apprehensive feelings when the rest of the flock came into view. All my life I'd planned on getting to them, and here I was, inside of their house. It was awesome. I was beginning to wonder how I would communicate with Iggy, though...he was blind, and I was mute. Well, crap. I sighed, then grinned at the thought. We'd think of something. I turned my attention to Kirose, who had just moved up to the roof. I'd talk to her later; right now, I wanted some introductions. I was moving towards the table where Iggy, Angel, and Gazzy were, when I noticed that Max was on her knees, on the ground, obviously in some major pain. I moved quickly to Fang, tapping him frantically on the shoulder, pointing with my other hand towards Max.

Kirose sat beside the chimney, looking up at the stars. She leaned back, using her hands to prop herself up. Angel: The toddler who has extrordinary mental capabitities. And acording to the fuss the scientists always made over her, she's different. Watch out for her just in case. Iggy: The blind one, the chef of the flock and bomb maker. The scientists say he's a failed experiment, but he proves himself to be important. Gazzy: The musical one, per se. Also a bomb maker; Iggy's parter in crime. Interesting ability to mimic voices, that will come in handy. Max: Leader of the flock, persistant, yet reasonable. Another avian the scientists are fond of. Fang: The dark one, rarely talks and seems to keep to himself. Also appears wary of me, god knows why. Nudge: Yet to meet her. Jacob: The silent one, also seems wary of me. Will follow up. Amy: The happy one. Much too cheery, I can't even be near her without getting irritated. Chayse: The opposite of her twin brother Fang, appreciates small things. Will follow up. She went over this list in her mind and sighed. Her mental clipboard.

Amy saw Jacob walk in and was about to say hi to him when she noticed that he was over by Fang and both of them were staring at Max, who was on her knees in what seemed to be a lot of pain. Amy gasped, covering her mouth with her hands, but she had no clue what to do. She didn't even know if it happened a lot, and surely someone who was part of the flock would be able to help her better than she could.

Personality: A friendly guy, he likes to smile a lot and talk with people. However, he isn't "bubbly" or "blonde" in terms of his attitude with people. He is actually quite intelligent and though he may appear to want to be best buddies with you he won't actually trust you until you prove that you are indeed trustworthy. He tends to try to think things out more before he does them, but sometimes he does the stupidest things (probably due to the fact that he's an adolescent boy).
History: He was a normal child until he was six, when his parents died in a "car crash" and the School took him into their facility. His real name is Johnathan but he earned the name Tool due to the fact that he has a knack for being able to repair things very well (and no, this isn't a power, just talent). He escaped only two or three months ago and so is still a bit edgy.
Power(s): Muscle manipulation (can control skeletal muscles), can "see" sound (real people do have this, so this doesn't have to be thought of as a power as it just happens).

As soon as Jacob tapped Fang's shoulder and he turned around to see Max crumpled in pain, he was at her side in less than a second. He put his strong arms around her and as gently as he could, he picked her up and moved her onto the couch. Chayse stood up and moved out of the way. He knelt on the ground beside the couch and swept away the hair from her face. He didn't bother asking what was wrong, he already knew exactly what it was and he didn't want to fill her mind with more pain with figuring out what he said. So he just sat there, stroking her hair back gently and hoping it would help. He hated seeing Max in pain.


Chayse watched Fang comfort Max from a distance. She didn't want to crowd Max, whatever was wrong with her, and Fang seemed like he knew what he was doing. So she moved and walked over to Amy's side so she wouldn't be in the way.

Amy saw Fang rush to Max's side and help her, though he didn't ask her anything. Amy stood where she was, slowly lowering her hands from her mouth when she had gasped. It was kind of odd seeing someone so silent and cold as Fang being able to show such sweetness to someone else. She was pretty sure that this meant that he liked Max, perhaps a lot. Chayse walked over by Amy while the blonde was still watching the other's brother and Max. She wanted to ask the other Avian if she had any clue what was wrong with Max but she thought that Chayse probably didn't know and for once Amy didn't want to break the silence with talking.
