"Yeah, it probably did. Welp, g'night." She went back to her previous spot and cuddled up with Raspberrytongue before falling asleep again.

Vriska jostled about in attempt not to crush her arm under her resting self and finally plopped down, her back facing the earth. If she was double crossed in the future she supposed she would still have the upper hand. After all, secrets were always her favorite kind of treasure. But theSerket didn't believe there would be any trickery this time around.

Haley woke up later the next morning with a catlike stretch and yawn, then a curious sniff. Something smelled, and she didn't think it was the scent of rotting flesh from the corpses. She sniffed again, then lifted her arm. "Yeaaaeerrghh... How long have I been this offensive?" She looked around and shrugged. "They wouldn't notice if I was gone for a few minutes..." She grabbed her backpack and took off about a quarter of a mile away to a running stream she'd remembered seeing before.

"Huh?" Anna sounded as Gamzee said some gobbledygook, raising her eyebrow at him. Highblood what? Dancestor? Huh? She shook his hand firmly and listened to him state the obvious, starting to regret revealing herself. This guy was either dumb or on some type of drug. She almost scoffed when he proposed he tag along with her. Who did this kid think he was? She had to tell herself not to go off on the guy, and instead tried to think of an excuse not to let him come with her. Arcana cursed herself when she couldn't think of anything better than his extra weight slowing the car down. Even that was a terrible solution; Gamzee looked as light as herself. Hesitantly, she nodded and relented, "Yeah, sure. Can't see why not, honestly." Then, she eyed the soda in his hand and started to dig into the pack slung across her back. "Don't you know soda's gonna dehydrate you?" she asked, tossing him a bottle of water. "Here, don't down the whole thing, though."

Gamzee grinned like the dope he was when he heard a confirmation that he could tag along with her. "That sounds miraculously awesome my friend" Once given the bottle of water he disregarded it quickly, not really caring whether the faygo he held in his hand was dehydrating or not, and even if he did care, He still would of preferred the Faygo to the Water. "Thanks Bro, but i'm all up and motherfu***** fine" He took yet another sip from the bottle of faygo that was in his hand, now staring blankly ahead, not sure what to expect, after all, the world was full of miracles or, it was to him.

"You know I-" Anna began, her voice raising in anger before she stopped herself, running a hand down her face. Calm down, she told herself, This guy does't know you're actually trying to be nice for once and how rare the occasion is. Just chill. She took a deep breath and tried her best to pass off a friendly smirk, "'Bro' yourself, man. Keep the water on you, though, just in case you wise up later on down the road. If you're gonna travel with me, you need to, you know, be smart. There's a lot of f***ing danger out there, and I can't be held responsible for you." Anna pulled out her own bottle of water and took a swig, and then splashed some on her face for good measure. "Anyway, you see anyone else 'round here?"

Vriska got up from a lazy sleep, only half awake and gave up trying to sleep the day away. She stretched her natural arm and sighed. She didn't want to test the metal arm in case it's damage was severe and lifted it tenderly with he left arm, trying to see if it could at the very least be moved. She'd only reached I half way when she changed her mind. There was no need in persisting if the reality was it wasnt in the right condition to do such. Vriska looked about herself and noticed the empty spot where Haley had once been. She looked about the campsite and hadn't seen head nor tail of the girl and was concerned. But she pushed it back believing her absence was probably due to some of the groups daily survival routine. She got up and walked around, waking herself up more and looked around for something to eat.

Haley walked back to camp with a damp towel in her arms, hair wet and curling at the ends. "Morning, Vrisk. You want breakfast?"

"Heck yeah! The last thing I 8te was some low quality pharmacy lollipops. I'm starved." Vriska laughed a bit. It had been ages since she'd had any real food, she thought she would have died in that store once the food in the storekeepers fridge ran out or rot. When she had arrived she remembered there being so little items in the back that wasn't covered with debris. The fridge itself had been lying on it's side at the time and no longer worked but there were still a few items that lasted a few weeks.
