She looked around then looked over her shoulder towards where the other Lady was trying to get closer.

Atario jumped a litte and came out of the shadows. "H-hi..." Her gaze flicked around at the group warily and she held up her charcoal covered hands to show she wasn't hostile.

"Sorry about that." Omni said with a bit of a grin. "For a second I thought you where a shadow."

I walked to the corner of the hallway and crouched, listening. I saw something move from the corner of my eye, and I blinked, startled. When I looked back at the corner, there was a shadow there that hadn't ben there before. I smiled, my eyes lighting up. "Gotcha," I crowed.

For the moment, I was ignoring what was going on behind me, intent on finding out what this shadow was. I slowly reached a hand out to it. I felt an almost searing pain and cried out, "Ow!" I yanked my hand back and stared at it. There were three long scratches, like claw marks, on my palm. "That is not good," I said hoarsely.
