Aden's pointed, elf ears twitched at the female's sudden actions. "You can turn human." he observed dryly, not showing any ill emotions.

Nyx nodded. "I wish I couldn't. no one likes me because of it" she said softly. She looked towards the ground

Vince walked down hall after hall and finally found a map showing fire exits on the wall "Finally" he took a picture and kept walking

Aden leaned against the wall casually. "That's a poor reason to not like someone." he responded. Something inside him flicked with sympathy. Perhaps because he had grown up around bullies and hatred. He knew what it was like.

Vince walked down a final hall and was at the dorms "WOO HOO" he shouted "first to the dorm! YEA!"

Nyx sighed. "I know but I'm used to it. Ever since my parents my parents died I've been alone"

"We'll be your friends!" Iba cheered out with a burst of confidence that made Aden shoot her a strange look. She lifted her gaze from where it had rested on her dog, revealing her clouded eyes that wouldn't yield her any sight. "We can be best friends!" the young girl added with a wide smile.

Aden grumbled something almost silently under his breath. "She'll be your friend." he corrected. He had never had much luck with friends, so he didn't often associate himself with the term.
