" are you sure?" he stated boldly " because I can make people scared of me, just watch me pull a 10 on our individual scores people will be scared of me" he said proudly. He hugged her tightly then leaned forwards and whispered in her ear "we will make it through, we will survive this terror alive" he looked into her glossy sparkling eyes before planting one more kiss on her lips then swiftly walking away

Sapheara stared after him, whispering "Maybe it won't be pretend." Hoping that as her walked away he couldn't hear her. She stood there for a moment and jogged to the training room and went to the agility course, she imagined that the room was filled with high voltage wires like at the plant, she took a deep breath and started, clearing the course in record time. When she reached the end she grinned, never noticing her mothers ribbon had fallen out and was lieing on the ground underneath the agility course. Sapheara walked towards another survival booth.

Surge walked back to his room and took a shower the sat on his bed deciding he would miss dinner when it came around. He shrugged and fell back his head landing on the soft cushony bed. He somehow knew he never had a chance and know he could accept his fate more easily not caring anymore he just wanted to die.

Rye practiced her darts using a blow gun and her hands. Her ever improving aim accurate and well thrown.

Sapheara walked up to the fifth floor and sat next to Surge, "Stop it." She said after a minute of silence, "Stop giving up because you feel sorry for yourself. There are other people who are rooting you on, but what sponser is gonna help a whiny, moping kid who WANTS to die? So stop. Your cousin needs you the way my sister needs me, to protect her. Stop it." The two simple words held a lot of power as she stood up and stared at him.

Sapheara sighed, "whatever, don't listen to me." she walked down to the training room and felt her hair, then froze, "Wheres my ribbon?" sh said to herself, she looked around everywhere, she looked at Otac with panic in her eyes, SHe jogged over, "have you seen my hair ribbon? it was my mothers and i can't find it!" she was panicing and looking around everywhere.
