Niko heard a thump on the door, obviously Sisi had tossed something at the door. "Just checking to see if you were all right," he called back. By the sound of her voice she didn't seem too well, probably not in the mood to eat anything either. Niko waited for her to answer, bracing for a most likely annoyed comment.

"Alright?" Her voice was slightly louder than was nessisary but, this was actually a possitive sign. "Yes I am just peachy" Her being able to muster up this level of sarcasim ment that the attack was starting to lesson. As though to entest to this she managed to extended her legs to full length as her muscles relaxed a bit. Turing so that she was on her back she placed her arm across her eyes letting out a soft sigh.

Farah opened her eyes slowly, slightly baffled at the lack of an ache in her neck. She'd come to expect it from all the nights of lying on the ground. It was nice to have at least one night in a real bed.
She swung her feet over the bed and onto the cool floor. On a normal night outside she just slept in her clothes, but she'd felt safe enough here to forego that and sleep in her pajamas of choice, a tank top and a pair of shorts. She combed her fingers through her hair to get rid of snarls and tangles and did her "morning tech report." She pulled the glove off her robotic arm and checked to make sure everything was functioning properly the repeated the process with her foot. She was a restless sleeper and though it wasn't likely that she'd damage her limbs at night, she always checked to make sure.
After getting dressed she walked downstairs to see if the others were up as well.

Dominic had a peaceful night free of nightmares. His wound had stopped bleeding for the most part and was bandaged in clean gauze. He woke up feeling great. When he walked down stairs he was surprised that Farah and Re weren't up. They were both early risers.
Guess they needed the sleep, he thought.

The sun was barely cresting the horzen casting a golden haze across the plain making seem like the shimmering wheat fields of old. Sisi was sitting on the sill of the first floor window one leg hanging out a few feet above the ground. Balanced on her lap was her sniper rifle, she had spent most of the twilight hours cleaning it and making sure that it was in working order. Pausing in this task she looked off into the distance, she longed for a long run. To feel the wind against her skin, the solid earth beneath her feet, the strength of her own muscles. Indeed what she really wanted was to feel the rush of the chase, even going after something small like rabbit would make her feel better.

Niko's eyelids slowly cracked open but still kept laying in the bed, barely stirring. Niko held his arms up, checking the joints all of them functioning properly without any surprises. He let his arms drop and began staring at the ceiling. This bed was extremely comfortable after sleeping on the ground for weeks. The feds should send us to little towns like this more often, Niko began to think. But he then remembered that not all of the villagers were this friendly. Still, the bed was comfortable and not a force in the world would get him out.

Farah looked at the other team members, taking a quick head count.
"Ugh, where's Niko?" she asked.
"Probably dead," Dominic said.
She glared at him,
"Not funny. I'll be right back," she said. She went upstairs and knocked on Nico's door. She waited a few seconds for an answer. When there was nothing more than him opening the door and opened it her self.
"Hey! Get up!" she said.

Except for that. "And good morning to you too," Niko said nonchalantly, sitting up and grabbing his eye patch he set on top of a night stand. As soon as Niko was ready he walked out the door and started for the stairs. After all he had much better things to do today, like putting a bullet in a lion's brain. What would really hit the spot right now is some orange juice, he mused to himself. Not like he would be getting that anytime soon or breakfast for that matter, they'd probably skip it to get an early start on the lions. Who knows? Maybe, Slyvester had whipped up something for them before they got on the hunt. Why am I thinking about food so much? Niko asked himself.

He smiled as everyone came down stairs, "I hope that you guys like waffles and berries, because I have plenty of it." He placed the plates full of steaming waffles and fresh blueberries and raspberries. He went around the table quickly, setting the silver wear and plates down. His chocolate brown hair and bright green eyes were the only thing that stood out in his dark green army-like uniform with a brown tie. He sat down and served him himself some of the waffles and berries.
