"No, not at all... I just wish HE'D get away from me..." Monica pointed her eyes at Brendon, who abruptly sat down on the ground, "He likes me but I'm not interested..."

Zek nodded. "It's okay dude. At least you don't have to deal with a crazy cousin who can get insanely hyper. Seriously, Hale can be really scary sometimes."

Hale put her hands behind her head. "I understand wanting to get someone who's annoying you off your back. However I really don't get the whole him liking you thing. I've never had a crush on anyone or had anyone have a crush on me so I really don't comprehend that part of this situation." She heard Zek's comment about her. "I can hear you Zek!" She called over her shoulder.

Zek winced before chuckling. "Of course she heard that."

Zek frowned. "Well if she doesn't like you in that way then it could be pretty awkward for her. Maybe you should try to just be her friend."

"Don't say that! I know many people who are like you & have equally crazy headed boyfriends! I'm one of those people.... although.. once I found out I was a half-Blood I stopped dating mortals...." Monica blushed for a second & then laughed it off, "uh, so what was your name again, I like you!"

Brendon I've known Hale pretty much since she was born, although we didn't become close friends until about five years ago and on top of all that she's my cousin." He paused. "And yet I never realized that she was a demi-god until my aunt, Hale's mother, told us that Hale was. It made sense when it was pointed out but before then I never noticed." Zek chuckled.
