Aurora had been to that section of the library so many times, even if she wasn't supossed to go, she had looked through each and every book over and over, lossing count of how many at a hundred. The thing that always puzzled her was the fact she was listed, along with every other wizard and aprentice in there, there were lines to mark her parents, and their parents and her uncles and aunts but all were blank... as though the names had been eraesed but no trace left "I've looked, trust me it was the first place I turned... and there is a record, if this makes any sense; the lines are there but the names are gone. It shows no record of my family tree besides the lines that connect person the person, all the names are gone but mine and even then it is only listed as Aurora. No last name." she said, finding it sounded even stupider when she tried to explain it.

Cal was now against a wall, all means of escape gone. She stared up at the huge stone golum, when she suddenly heard a masculine voice shouting commands at it. Except, it wasn't listening. She tried to peer around the huge golum to see who it was, and suddenly, Will was in between her and the stone golum with his sword in his hands. She was already running through a list of spells quickly, squeezing her eyes shut when she saw the stone golum begin to swing it's massive arm down, towards them. She finally got the spell and said the words, the words coming out rushed and tripping over one another.

Stella crept around the corner, her eyes flickering back and forth, searching for danger. She breathed a heavy sigh. "This is it." she thought. she put her foot down a touch before recoiling, scared. "I can do this, I can do this.." She repeated to herself quietly. She squeezed her eyes shut and planted her foot on the ground, but everything was silent. She opened her eyes. There was only black street. She raised and eyebrow, turning to go, but then she heard a whoosh, and suddenly she was flying. She was gripped by something, someone... she heard someone scream, it might have been her. then all she felt was air, and below her she saw fire. He eyes widened as she tried to grip onto something, anything, in the open air. She hit the ground with a rattling thud, and suddenly she couldn't breath anymore. She felt her bones shatter, a piercing heat, and everything went black.

Jordan looks at Aurora as she speaks, absently tugging on his beard as he thinks. Blank? All of them? But how could that be? It is either a very grievous mistake or... Sitting up a bit straighter, he chooses his words carefully. "You mean they don't even list your foster parents, the king who adopted you? That is very strange indeed..." Puzzling it out in his head, he struggles with how much more he should say to the young wizzard. Jordan knows very well that the mole-faced librarian would never omit such simple information, he was one of the most persnickety and fastidious people he had ever met. But at the same time, he fears that words to that effect might send Aurora on a crusade to find out just who has been messing with her for so long. From what he has seen of her there is little that one can do to change her mind once she has it set on something. Rolling his shoulders and taking a few more sips of soup to stall while he thinks, he finally decides to tell her. After all this time of being lied to, she deserves the truth. At least this once. " It's almost as though the information has been erased, like someone didn't want you looking into your history."

Will closed his eyes, bracing for contact... but it never came. He opened one eye then the other, the golums fist was meer centermeters from his face; brushing the first hairs of his bangs. He slowly edged away from the fist, half expecting it to come flying back at him or Cal but it never happened. As soon as he had decided that the golum wasn't going to punch him in the face he turned to Cal "How did you do that!?" he exclaimed, a little shaken by their near death experience. "Nevermind. Stupid question." he muttered, rethinking what he had just said.

She looked down, taking hungry sips of her soup, it had been a long day and she had cast the same spell about fifty times in an attempted to get it right. "No, adopted parents aren't usually listed concidering they don't have any direct relation to you." she explained simply, the same thing Aldra had told her, her adopted family wouldn't have any effect on her magic so there was no need to list about them in the Circles libraries. When he said someone didn't want her to find out who her parents were. "Why would someone even care who my parents?"

Cal stood there, her face turned away and her eyes squeezed shut. She refused to open them to see the golum's flying fist coming towards them, to end their lives. Then, she heard Will exclaim, and opened her eyes slowly and stared at the golum, waiting for several minutes to see if it would come attack again. When it didn't, her stiff body relaxed as she let put a sigh of relief, looking at Will when he asked her a question. "It's fine," she said. "You're okay though, right?"
