Juniper stumbled back, landing on the ground with a hard thud. But she wouldn't give up that easily. Not seeming to notice Cassia chasing after Melanie, Juniper charged at Daniel again. This time, ducking right before she reached him and aimed her knife for his knees. The pain in her side made it hard to concentrate, and Juniper couldn't help but stumble as she took a breath to catch her bearings.

Juniper landed a few good hits. Benji watched Juniper stumbles a bit and took this time to catch Daniel off guard, he swung his axe towards the other boy’s side, hoping to distract him from Juniper while she got her bearings. “Two against one pretty boy. I hope you‘ve told your girlfriend goodbye!” Ben stated and went after Daniel again.

Melanie's begging rang in Cassia's ears, hitting her heart and piercing through painfully. Why was she feeling this, what was she even feeling? Remorse? Regret? She couldn't let those pitiful emotions take control of her and make her weak. She just couldn't. So biting her lip, Cassia raised her blade and sent it crashing down on the poor girl. As soon as she did a wave of guilt washed over her, was she becoming weak? Turning to Daniel, her cold, stone eyes no longer hard, she snapped at him. "Come on. Leave them. They'll bleed out."

You’re gonna be okay.” He spoke softly to the girl as he moved her hair out of her face gently. “You’re gonna be okay. Just relax okay?” He spoke again as his eyes went to the wound. She wasn’t going to make it. His eyes shot up to Juniper, tears flowing freely down his face. He choked back a sob and looked down a Melanie with a smile, tears falling onto his shirt as he whispered to the girl soothingly. “Melanie. Think of home, okay? Think of your parents. Think of us. When it landed at her feet, Cassia pried it open, finding a small note from her mentor. It said: Don’t be weak. was all that it simply said. Inside the box was a small copper bracelet with a pointed blade attached to it. Although it seemed small, Cassia knew what the purpose of it was for. It was her mentors form of praise. Praise for killing children. Cassia knew from this point on she would no longer waste time with remorse.
