In Disguise [Romantic/Dramatic Fantasy RP Accepting

Gzsenna crouched down low on Arron's back, shivering and looking out for the hunter that had shot him. If she saw that hunter, she'd kill it, no mercy. Really. She wasn't sure how she'd do that, but it was an idea. She nudged Arron's face softly to the left with her nose, so he could see a bit of a trail through the fire. Light at the tunnel's end. Definetely.

Arron felt the nudge, and turned his head in the direction of where she was pointing. He saw a trail, not very large, that led through the fire. Without another glace a different way, Arron carefully made his way towards the trail. He steadied himself so that Gzsenna wouldn't fall off, then began to walk down the path. The smoke burned his eyes, the pain stabbed at his side, but he kept his head up and navigated his way threw the smoking trees. At last he felt flat ground-they had made it out of the cave and off the hill safely. But hunters were still shooting arrows at them. Arron took up a steady trot, attempting to get them both out of the harmful effects from the fire.

Gzsenna scooped up some snow off the ground, nearly falling off Arron's back in the progress. She patted it as well as she could on his wound, messily because of her paws. She was debated whether or not turn human again, so that she could have a turn at carrying her...friend? That wasn't the right word. Boyfriend wasn't either, though closer. Partner. That would do. She snapped out of her thinking as another coughing spell hit her.

Arron heard her coughing. I've got to get her out of here. Arron thought to himself. He forced his legs to go faster, and for once he was grateful he hadn't dropped out of gym. He went from a trot to a flat out run, keeping his eyes on the forest floor in front of him. His side screamed in protest, but he ignored it. Coughing slightly, his eyes burning, Arron continued to run. But where to? Was there someplace safe to go? Another arrow streaked past him, and he jumped slightly. But he kept running, determined to get out of the forest alive.
