"Youhr ahncestor. Yes. Ahnd you haven't seehn all the pahrts of the cave. Thehre are some smahll paintings of my ahncestor, but scrahtched. Thehre are more and bihgger paihntings of your ahncestor, Erisdi", said Leodan. "There are more?! Oh hell", muttered Lionel, hiding his face in his hands. T2H2 wanted to show something to Leodan. Leodan only. Leodan followed T2H2. As they left, Lionel shook his head slowly. He was sitting on a frozen rock, with his head down and hidden in his hands. "Urgh", he muttered.
Leodan followed T2H2 to a more modern part of the tunnels-Danelo's part. It was full of scratches, like any residence of a Wookie would be. And there, in the center, a brilliant painting made with different colours of blood of what seemed Rico's -or Ricoke's, if you prefer- ancestor. In the bottom, a small note: "He treated me like a lusus would treat the troll it raised. I must never forget him. I must carry on his mission and avenge his soul. Because he was the one that cared for me most. Because he taught me everything I know. Because he was the lusus I never had". Leodan sat on a nearby rock. Rico taught Leodan everything he knew, even the Wookie language. The Wookie language was extremely complicated, as one sound pronounced in different manners can mean 30 different words. And Leodan's lusus couldn't understand Leodan if he didn't talk Wookie. So basically, Rico was the lusus Leodan didn't have (metaphorically) until Leodan learned to speak the Wookie language fluently. But still, Rico, even though he could be a beast by then, was still the best moirail he ever had. If well remembered, Rico treated Leodan a lot like Leodan treated Lionel, now. Danelo- Leodan would now call his ancestor by his name- sold his soul only to avenge the best friend he ever had. Denalo was determined to kill the mutant blood that killed his master and teacher. Even though Leodan would do the same if someone killed Rico, Leodan thought this was his ancestor's job, not his'. Leodan wouldn't kill every mutant blood that crossed his sight because of an ancestor trait. No. Leodan was in control of his soul. Leodan would command what his stupid instincts did! Leodan was the boss of Leodan, no one else. T2H2 contained a beep of joy- New master was a step closer to becoming a great member of the Bear-lined.
Rangon glanced- not really- around. "Is she anywhere? I couldn't see the Mecha-Falcon even if I tried", said Rangon, blinking his eyes.
[My ramble]
While there is matter there is hope.
Unless we're talking about Gamzee.
Then there is no hope for that guy.
