The Capitol has no regard for any feelings." she said, almost every word a lie. She was a brilliant liar. She knew the girl would believe her, and liked it that way.

"oh please i am not that stupid i can tell you are lying" bryony said before she stood up and walked over to the elevator and without approval she got in and rode it up to the 10th floor and went straight to her room where she got in the shower and hit a random button that let out an orange scented water. after that she put on a plain t shirt and sweat pants then crawled under the covers on her bed and waited to be called out for diner

Surge felt sick he had seen how Saphaeea was acting around Otac and decided it bestjust to stay away from them all. He knew she said she was helping him but this hurt more than she could probably imagine all he really wanted was to die and for Otac to die and that girl Ever. Sighing he took a few last bites of the food and then went over to the elevator and pressed the five and headed to his room but sighed and changed his mind and headed for the boucany(<-lol idk how to spell the word). He stood out on it relaxing as the fresh sir carressed his face. He closed his eyes and pictured Rachel standing next to him pulling on his shirt begin for him to pick her up. He chuckled and shook his head.

Sapheara looked around and headed to the fifth floor. She took a long shower using water that smelled like jasmine and vanilla, she dried herself off and put her hair in a gently braid. Sapheara pulled on some denim short shorts and a district five t-shirt. She pulled on a pair of combat boots and almost felt like herself. She grabbed two apples and walked to the *balcony*, "Here, build up your strength." She tossed Surge one and sat on the railing, taking a bite from the fruit. Sapheara swallowed and grinned, "Rosie would love these," She smiled at Surge and ate the rest of her apple on her way down to the training room, te doors would be locked until exactly 1 O'clock, She sighed and sat against the door alone. Sapheara thought about Jake, her twin brother, a smile rose on her face, she could almost see him, at work in the power plant, he was a smart cookie and worked in control room but to give him the only opening she purposely flunked the test and was put in manual labor. She'd come home some nights, her back and hands cut and bleeding from carrying electrical wires, which is where she got so good with a whip. Sapheara scowled, the games weren't her first sacrifice she'd made to save her family.

Surge sighed lOoking at the apple and shook his head. He turned and headed over into his room he picked up a remote and stared at it confused on what it was he pressed a button and the wall changed the scene was now of the city he pressed it again and it changed into a florid jungle birds chirping and animals calling. He smiled and paused sitting down on the bed and clicked it again and the wall changed into a forest clicking it again it became a vast desert he stared at confused. He dropped the remote and walked over to the wall and touched it his hand only touching the wall he looked at it alittle longer til he realized he should be going back downstairs. He went back to the bed and flipped it til it was normal again. He picked up the apple and took it down the elevator til he reached the training floor and walked over to where sapheara and sat next to her. "Thanks for the apple." he said smiling slightly his eyes soft and kind unlike how lately they were dull, and full of pain and anxity. He had worked hard to calm himself and prepare himself for what was going to happen and was determined to remain that way.

Sapheara nodded, "Your welcome." She sighed, looking down, "I wonder if Rosie's watching me right now, I hope she isn't, I don't want her to see the monster underneath my skin." She looked around sadly, "I'm just, really tired of losing everything to the capitol...and when I volunteered, I felt good, I had shown them that they can't have what they want anymore, not from me anyway. These aren't words of rebelion but words of wearyness." She looked at Surge, "i'm sorry Surge...I kissed Otac and I liked it."

Surge's eyes were full of pain as he looked away and nodded "Yeah, well I guess it's better that way anyways you teaming up with him will get you far and you'll be safe I just hope someone will take him out for you so you don't have to." he nodded once more pain growing within him. He turned and headed back to the elevator looking back once more as he muttered something under his breath. He got back on the elevator and pushed five when he stepped out of the elevator anger flooded through him he walked over to the window in the livingroom like area trying to calm down which made him even more irritated and angry. Frustrated with himself he turned around aabruptly and punched the wall leaving a big deep hole which made him curse under his breath and walked to his room. He fell back onto his bed his knuckles ached and he felt the warm sticky seeping of blood running down his hand and on his arm.

Sapheara sighed, "What do you want from me? I liked being just friends." She muttered and walked into the training room as the clock struck 1. She was alone for a minute, writing a note under Otac's spear, 'to O-teem em ni eht snedrag-from S' written backwards so no one but him would understand. She then slipped away into the garden, Sapheara froze as a azure blue butterfly landed on her nose, "Er...shoo?" She gently lifted it off, and set it free. She smelled a flower and smiled, according to her lessons, it was a rose. She cut one off and entwined it in her braid to remind her of Rosie. This gave her some inspiration and she walked around slowly, picking only a few flowers and entwined them in her braid. Sapheara sat on a stone bench, taking in the beautiful day, the sunlight seemed to glow on her skin and made her look almost...beautiful. Her eyes shown just as blue as the blue butterflies wings, her blond hair a shiny gold with little pops of color from the flowers. But she was here on business, it was important she spoke to Otac, although, her face seemed bright and happy in the warmth. She couldn't help but think about that kiss with Otac, it had been her first and it seemed to leave her dizzy just thinking about it. Sapheara wanted to kiss him again but really had to talk to him first.

Otac

otac slipped away to go back to the training center where he found a note written backwards. he read it then immediately ran to the elevator where he rode up to the garden and looked around "sapheara?" he hissed quietly in fear of some one hearing him "are you there? i got your note!" he whispered. he slowly started to walk forwards

Sapheara heard him and her head snapped up, she walked over and whispered, "Hey, I've heard rumors that your gonna be the main target at the Cornacopia. Change of plans, I'm small and sneeky, no one will see me, I can get the stuff we need and meet you four miles to the east. When we meet up, our main goal is to find water and cover. But we're gonna need sponsers and lots of them. We need a sure fire way to win the hearts of the sponsers and," She groaned, "rumor has it, this year, their feeling...romancy." She gagged slightly, "So, I have an idea on what do we do." she blushed deeply. The flowers in her hair made her face glow, even though she seemed worried, she whispered quietly in his ear, "Trust me for a minute." She put her hand on his cheek and slowly leaned in, she closed her eyes as their lips met and a wildfire started through her body. She kissed him deeply, her body tension evaporating. She pulled away slowly, "I um, er, yeah so, I guess my plan was to make the sponser fall in love with us, by 'falling in love' with each other, in pretend of coarse." She blushed.
