"S-sorry!" Jewel said quickly and didn't bother to look back again. She kept rather close to Chess as they scrambled to get away from the mod. "Water. I hate water. But, I don't think the mods are water proof. Are they?" She glanced around the long hallway. It seemed to be exit-less, and she almost began to panic. 'Panicking won't help you, Jewel. It will only make her catch you,' she told herself, trying to make herself feel a little more calm. "Where's the way out? I can't see it."

"Sure. I'm not sure what else to talk about though," Trevor said, watching her warily when it sounded like she'd just burst into tears. He snatched up the remote and began to flip through the channels. "Sucks they're all fuzzy. I thought I fixed that. Obviously I didn't."

"Struggle all you want," Kiro mumbled when he felt Sammy beginning to stir in his grasp. "But you won't be able to escape me even if you do run." He glanced over to her with his one eye that wasn't patched. "Your friends are safe. For now. But not for long, since Seal's after them. Expect to see your brother or that other female to join you in a few hours." He was headed toward some fancy looking building. Obviously a science lab, as that was where he and Seal were created, and the place for wild and roaming nekos to be held and tested on. "Welcome to your new home, Kitty."

Amelia noticed how nervous he was getting. He was talking so fast, it was all jumbled up together. "Can I go step outside?" She asked quietly.

"Huh? If you want to, I suppose. Just keep an ear and an eye out for danger. Don't want you to be snagged or anything," Trevor said as he sat down on the couch. He would keep an ear trained on the front door, just to pick up sounds from her being outside. If he heard anything, like a scream, he'd be out there in a heart beat.

Amelia nodded heading out into the glistening snow. She smiled smuggley to herself. All she has wondered so far, is if he cared for her like her brother did when he was still with her. Amelia's whole body filled up with anger when she thought about her brother. Why did he leave her to fend for herself! It's just so mean and selfish.

Trevor was carefully watching her from the window. But, if she even turned to face the house, he would hide himself from view. He thought that spying or watching was kinda rude, and he didn't really want to pass off as a rude person. He continued to flip through the channels, but ultimately just tossed the remote aside.

Amelia ears twitched as she heard the faintest of sounds. Her heart started to race quickly. She looked around slowly, even though she was practically as stiff as a pole. Amelia opened her mouth to speak but nothing could escape her lips.
