Ryse sucked in a deep breath of air and ran a hand through her flaming hair. When Kora came over to her, she was thankful her friend had sat farther away to give her some space for her flames and sent her a small smile. "Well. It was...something. You didn't seem to like it though." She said in an attempt to twist the conversation onto Kora.
It was odd the be talking with someone like this...in a friendly way. Ryse assumed it was what most people did when talking to other sentient creatures, but it had been a while for her.

He nodded, having finished the last thing in the bag. "Yeah," He sighed, crumbling up the plastic. "I to-to-tot-t-" he struggled with the word, getting frustrated and finally changing his sentence. "I actually fo-forgot to eat breakfast today, I don't kno-know if it was from nervousness or excitement, but I was s-super hungry, hah!" He looked in the direction of some commotion, seeing that big scary fish lady from earlier. And two other skeletons, one looking strangely like his friend. They seemed to be yelling at some kids or something. Once it was over, his eyes flicked back to Papyrus.
"Do you know what that was about?" He asked, pointing behind him with a spoon.

"W-when I said I was hungry, I wasn't asking for a feast," EP joked, though he ate more anyway. He did like food. Food is good. She blushed when she noticed she was rambling.
“Sorry, I’m rambling,” she muttered with a downward glance at the floor.
