Once upon a feather ( open and accepting !)

"Yep. For high schoolers." Jevin said with a smile. "They are easier to get along with." He was just a teacher in general, and sometimes a substitute when it was needed.

"Thanks. It's a name my brother gave me." Forest said with a smile. Of course, in this case the brother was not Gardis. "So what should I call you? Damon or Panther?"

Hakumei swatted at the smaller foxes surrounding the tree she was in , one had a faint silver tint , that one she swatted at rather fast. her face was almost comical while she batted at the small creatures " KUU!!" she growled angrily at them before slipping further into the tree, as if thinking the tree would be her escape. soon though a new secent made it's way to her nose . ' Dog?' she thought idely as she watched for the signs of the wild , or tame dog.

Atsushi soon broke away from his brother with a wicked grin " Soooo, Did you remember to tell everyone about the party at the palace?" he watched Ren stiffen " Of course you forgot!" he says with a chuckle

Shizuka made her way through the forest, twirling one of her daggers in her right hand. Not that she planned on using it. After all, an enemy hadn't appeared to her for ages. The island was rather peaceful...
Just then, Shizuka picked up a familiar scent nearby. Following the scent, she soon came upon a tree that was surrounded by small foxes. “Hi!” Shizuka greeted them warmly and knelt down a small distance from them, delighted by the sight of more canines. However, deeper into the tree, she noticed another small fox. “Hey!” She waved to the small fox, not recognizing right away who it was. “Did they chase you up there?” She asked with a laugh, although knowing that she was still just talking to what appeared to be a mere wild fox.

Hakumei's tails twitched at the sound of Shizuka's voice she Barked at her rather loudly before shifting " No, you see , I was sitting in the tree I made a noise and these Things decided I was good to stare at ." she said as she let her nine tails fall past the branches " They're annoying see?" she said pointing at the group of foxes staring up at her wagging their tails with Excitement

Shizuka watched with surprise as the fox transformed into a more humanoid form, or more specifically a kitsune. It was then that she finally realized why the girl's scent was so familiar.
Nearly oblivious to what the girl had just spoken, Shizuka suddenly exclaimed with gleaming eyes and a wagging tail, “Hakumei! I thought you were dead! Or...something.” Of course, being as straight-forward as she was, she didn't think twice before stating that she believed her friend was dead during the time they were apart. Jumping back to the original topic, however, she said with a smile whilst crawling an inch closer to the group of foxes, “I thought you would like foxes, though. I mean, these are pretty cute.”

Hakumei rolled her eyes " a Deity cannot die!" she said with a laugh . as she settled against the tree branch "You know.. those foxes have been following me all day!!" she said with a chuckle . as she dangled her tail below to mess with a few of the foxes down below, " Annoying and that red one is pudgy" she got a squeal of protest from the smaller fox.

Shizuka observed the foxes for several long moments, trying to come up with a way to stop them from following Hakumei. “What if you scared them off? Really scared them off...Then they'd never want to follow you, hehe,” She suggested with a mischievous look in her eyes, but it faded as she sighed, “But I guess that's just plain evil. Then when you want them around, they still wouldn't come back.”

Hakumei laughed " Try and scare them , when they've lived with a big fox for a long time... nothing scares them..." she chuckled as she dragged her tail acoss the ground . " It's fun to tease the younger ones though" she said with a giggle . " But try it . I'm not joking they'll sit there and stare at you"

“Strange, they look like they would've been,” Shizuka murmured as she gazed upon the vast group of foxes. She then lied flat on the soft ground, shifting her view to Hakumei who sat above in the tree. “I'm not really too good at scaring anyone, at least not once I've made myself this obvious,” She laughed, then added with disappointment, although soon returning to her bright demeanor towards the end, “I guess I'm out of ideas then, but it's sort of cute that they want to follow you around. I don't see why they wouldn't.”

Hakumei chuckled " They're helpful everynow and then ..." she said as she watched a fat old grey fox plop down on his belly " haha... " she watched them play " They are kinda cute huh?" she said as she looked down at Shizuka " OH! so , I opened a store on the island , clothing store . You should come by "
