Emerald nodded. "Yeah! In my closet. I'll go grab it and meet you out front."

"Oh, hey Zane!" Cole grinned. "Am I missing out on some gathering thing? I'm about to go do some stupid flaming tennis with my kids.."

"You're totally missing the greatest meetup in the history of the world, Cole. Geez, why do you have to be such a good dad and hang out with your kids instead of coming and taking part in this grand gathering?" Jay laughed.

"Sounds like only Zane is standing there with you, Jay. I would call that a couple. Not a gathering." Cole chuckled.

"Uh, no... This is Kelly. I'm totally a different person." Jay lightened his voice, moving the phone a bit.

"Oh, wow.. Kelly, huh?" Cole laughed.

Kendal dropped to a knee. "Tol Luna!"

"Great I'll meet you there!" Sapphire waved, rushing out the front door.

"I believe the 'greatest meet up of history' is an overstatement. And that is not a very convincing voice!" Zane cleared his throat before continuing in a high pitches voice. "There are certainly more than two people! See?"

Luna carefully climbed on, "Im not too heavy right...? Don't want to hurt your back!"

[kia.]

Cole laughed. "Jay, Zane's voice is way more convincing than yours was."

"Okay well.. Then.." Jay paused, his pitch dropping. "There are totally more than two people here."

Cole laughed even harder. "Right, right."

Emerald rushed into his room, grabbing the extra racket before hauling outside. "Wow.. I can't believe dad agreed to join us.. And he's getting out of the house to do something besides work? What's made him so.. different?" He looked at Sapphire. "It's strange seeing him in better spirits.."

Kendal straightened out. "Not at all! You're actually pretty light.."

[Prince Endymion]

Zane chuckled, "You are not the best at voice imitations!" His voice dropped in pitch. "However the fact that there are more than two people stands." Letting his voice go back to normal, "Perhaps when you are done with your dangerous activity with your children... Would you like to come and catch up at the mall?"

"He didn't just agree to join us he asked to join us! Hasn't done that in a while..." Sapphire shrugged. "I haven't seen him like this for... Ages! Whenever he's home he sometimes seems kinda... Absent, know what I mean? I hope whatever's got him like this stays this way. What could have happened? No doggos, it's certainly not us..."

Luna held on tight, "Alright then...!"

"Sounds like a plan.. We'll be heading that way once we scatter all of the tennis balls." Cole chuckled.

"I hope he stays more.. Focused." Emerald tilted his head. "Hes kinda just been an absent sad guy for a long time.."

"Wait Kendal are you getting that sweatshirt? If not.. We'll have to find a way to get it off." Cambria laughed.

Kendal grinned. "Yeah. I like this one."

[Prince Endymion]

"Too long..." Sapphire sighed. "Maybe this change will be for good. I'd like to see him be more happy."

Zane smiled, "I am happy to hear. ...Let Emerald know Kendal is hear, last I heard they were not the biggest fans of each other."

Luna looked around from the new height perspective. "This is amazing!! I'm taller than everything!! Woo!"

"I hope it is for good.." Emerald nodded. "I could get used to happy dad.."

Cole chuckled. "I wouldn't be surprised if I have to split up a conflict between them.."

"Tol Luna!" Kendal giggled. "Woo!"

"I hope that will not be necessary..:" Zane sighed. "I am not sure why they dislike each other so much."

Sapphire grinned, "I could too! It's not just a could, it's a want. ...If that makes any sense!"

"I guess you're kinda used to being up this high though, huh?" Luna asked.

(I'm screaming I just heard about a set of graphic novels for Legend of Korra called Turf Wars and I need it)

"Neither do I.." Cole chuckled.

Emerald laughed. "It totally does!"

Kendal nodded. "Definitely."

Sapphire grinned, "Id love for happy Dad to be a thing again."

"I can almost touch the ceiling!!" Luna giggled, reaching up to touch the ceiling.
