Amaya
May didn't want to sleep. She sat a little way off from the others, silently watching them, as they all drifted off to sleep. She tilted her head at Cioke, who was sleeping soundly. Surely, everybody knew he was the Avatar by now, she thought, why didn't he just admit it? Frowning, she narrowed her eyes. He obviously wasn't going to just spill; she wished he would just come clean already. Then again, if she was the Avatar, would she trust in others, when they were so unfamiliar? No, probably not.
Maya shoved those thoughts aside, and instead took out her pouch again. Running the water over her fingertips, she watched as she Water Bended without so much as thinking of the motions she needed to do. It was odd how, when she started to train at the age of four, that she couldn't do this without thinking. She was a natural, though, and picked it up with ease.
Making sure that the others were all asleep, she stood up, poking her head outside the cave. The blizzard had eased, and it was now very lightly snowing. May stepped out into the snow, her shoes crunching as she took a few paces away from the cave. As much as she liked the company, she liked peace too. Shutting her eyes slowly, she held out her arms, and began to extract the water contents from the ice - it had taken her a while to come up with it, but she could do it easy enough now. She opened her eyes, watching as the snow around her melted to water. Bending; just bending. She felt like one with the water. She wasn't the weak little child she was years ago; she was actually good at bending now.
