{ Ooh I didn't like Linger anywhere near as much as Shiver xD It was boring and slow for a lot of the book : P It did help explain a lot more about the "disease" though, didn't it? But the fact that Linger sucked doesn't stop me from freaking out until Forever comes out! }
Jen followed behind the "alpha", Ryu, sliding behind him inside. The brief flash of cold had made her nose and mouth extend outward slightly and fingernails curve back into claws, and she was thankful to be indoors again. Even better-in a house. It was nice and cozy in here-clearly they kept the heaters on 24/7 to prevent shifting unexpectedly. She heard voices in another room-more guys-more werewolves-followed by the sound of the springs in some kind of chair or something squeaking resistantly.
It smelled musky indoors, and quite literally, like wet dog by the doorway. She blushed when her boots left muddy tracks on the floor, and slid them off. After glancing out the window to see near pitch black, she realized how late it was and another rush of exhaustion hit her. Her eyelids started to droop.
