"What's up?" he asked, wrapping an arm around the boy. It was a friendly gesture, and nothing more. He tipped his hat towards a passing clave member, then looked to Jace. "Hmm, Wayland?"

i look over at him " what do you mean?" i ask him curiously, not even seeing the other clave member.

He shrugged. "II'm curious as to what's happening," he said as they reached the bottom of the steps. He was getting quite hungry, and was thinking maybe he'd out. "Are you hungry?" he asked, dropping the earlier topic.

i head out of the insitute, via the sanctuary. I knew i should have let soemone know i was heading out, but i needed to find out what this was. why was i in need of figureing out why i felt...different. something didnt feel right and somehow i needed to get away, figure things out. i was following my head, the voices. I ended up finding myself drawn to a man ( valentino). " hello?"

"Wayland," he said, turning to face the boy. His green eyes studied him as he placed his hands on his shoulders. "Nothing is wrong, right?" By the angel, was he that confusing? He looked around the halls to see if there were any familiar faces, but he did not find any. He looked up at the blonde shadowhunter, and wondered where he was the previous day. The clave meeting. Sure, Jace was not old enough to attend, but he felt that the boy would've at least tried to get in.

i look at him for a minute before shrugging " something happened yesterday in the sanctuary. i was late to get there and i'm out of the loop in things. it bites not to know what's going on in your own home. i say shrugging " but i'm used to it."
