Zoey started to giggle and dropped Boo in the process of trying to get away. The bear started to sink rather quickly but Zoey grabbed it and darted off suddenly.

Max looked at her curiously. "Really? You don't seem like it. No offense."

I let go and watch her run off. I give a small smile before turning and walking down the hall in the opposite way. I head towards the spiral stairs. Once I reach the top of the tower, I walk out onto the balcony and look down at the grounds.

Maria frowned at him turning invisible and frowning to herself "that wasn't very nice"

"I'm not saying you weren't popular. You just don't seem like it." Max said looking around.

Maria looked Iver at him "and what do you mean by that?"

"I'm guessing he means you seem very solitary." I say, coming in through the wall to join their conversation.

Max nodded. "She know what I mean. And how am I supposed to make a clear judgement of someones life when they're dead?"

Maria sighed slightly and turned visible "well then" she muttered

"He does have a point." I say and my eery gaze finally lands on the boy. I look away after a few seconds and then to Maria. "Hello. I do believe you're the famous ghost Maria. I'm Skylar."
