Amber curled her hair and perfected her makeup. She applied her final coat of blush and stood.

Nick tossed and turned in his bed, twirling a rock between his fingers.

Aleah sat up in her bed and propped her back up on a pillow. She grabbed a book from her back pack and read a few pages out of it. She looked around the cabin, but all she saw was some empty bunks, along with her cabin mate Sam. She stuck the book back into the pack and made her bed.
