Kavaii wandered down the street silently, nothing much was different about the young boy, apart from the fact that over the last few weeks he had aquired a weird smell, his eyes had changed colour and he had a continuous fever... He knew what was wrong with him, quiet a few of the kids his age were talking about it... They called it 'Damu laana' Which Means blood curse in Swahili... and to Kavaii it was a curse...

Sarah

Sarah sat outside shivering. She'd been up all night setting off traps to help the wolves. She had dirt on her face, caked under her nails, and mud stained into her new jeans, but none of that mattered to her, all she cared about was keeping the wolves safe. They were beautiful animals and her heart was nothing like her sisters. Sarah loved seeing animals alive and free.

Alison was fast asleep in her room. She was content in her sleep thinking her sister wouldn't interfere today, after all, Sarah went to be early the night before after throwing up all day, She'd been sick. So Alison wasn't worried.

Hayden hated being a human. He sat outside his house with his fists clenched. Human wasn't the life he was born for, or at least thats how HE saw it.

(remember, they can shift at their own will XD As a wolf they keep their human thoughts but cannot talk english, the communicate through their minds and with their body gestures...)

Kavaii's eyes darted around as he yawned, he glanced down at the floor and sighed... He wanted to be wolf... As much as the shifting scared him, he didn't seem to care... All that mattered to him right now was running freely... He must of looked like a phsycho, crouching down in the middle of the road and slipping his jacket and shirt off... He pinched his amber eyes shut and forced the shift to occur, wincing slightly before it was all over. With a quick shake of his head and a soft howl he bounded through the town, heading to the house every wolf hadto pass by to get to the forest (can it be Sarah and Alison's house?)

Sarah's head shot up hearing a howl "Oh no" She ran towards her window and crouched down. if Alison woke up she's have helll to pay for being outside.

Alison's eyes snapped open hearing a howl "I caught one!"

Sarah trembled slightly as the cold from being out in the woods all night seeped into her. She quickly bit her tongue to keep her teeth from chattering.

Alison jumped out of her bed and pulled on some warm clothes.

Hayden growled hearing a wolf howl and took off towards the woods.

Kavaii heard a lot of ruckus from the house and silently crept round the side, keeping his head low as he made the dangerous journey across the peoples back yard, getting to the middle and freezing as he heard a noise from behind him

Sarah's eyes were locked on the wolf in front of her. She hadn't meant to slip but her legs were so tired after running all night that she hit the ground on her knees. She stayed still, she knew the wolf saw her but she wasn't scared for herself, only the wolf.

Alison slammed into her door forgetting she'd locked it and screamed holding her sore nose.

Sarah lowered her eyes slightly to show she was no threat but shivered hard.

Kavaii looked round at Sarah, his amber eyes catching the light of the moon as he watched her intently. Seeing her shiver, he tilted his head to one side and lowered his head, slowly, yet warily moving toward... He could tell she was a good person, by her body language

Alison Slammed open her door.
Sarah gasped and tossed a rock at Kavii's feet and mouthed 'Get out of here! hurry!' She knew her sister was eager to kill a wolf but Sarah always got in her way....but Alisons last threat got to her

Hayden slid to a stop seeing Kavii and growled "Move it kid!" His voice was a whisper, he knew Alison well enough to know she was blood crazy.

Sarah looked at Hayden and froze. Hayden was close to her sister and had dated her once. She was terrified he'd tell Alison she'd been out here.

Kavaii yelped as she threw a rock at him and then the guy growled at him, he dropped his ears and whimpered, darting away quickly into the wood, his tail hanging low as he headed for the water fall
