Calienea brought her bow out from behind her. All she needed was for Shadow to be quiet so that she could get closer to that deer. She pulled an arrow and noched it. Rose the bow and let the arrow fly. The arrow flew over the deer. This was the third time she missed that week. What was her problem.

As Amaya walked through the forest to go back into town she heard an arrow fly near by. It flew into a tree near her. Before she would of thought it was a hunter missing but now she wasn't so sure. Hero flew up into the air to see who it was and calm down Amaya. He returned and landed on Amaya's shoulder. He rubbed his head on her cheek to say it was only a hunter that missed. Amaya decided to check it out herself. She snuck over where the arrow came from. Her bow was raised and had an arrow ready just in case. She saw it was just a girl on a horse and sighed in relief.

Cali saw a girl approaching through the trees in front of her. She wasn't killing that deer for meat. She was killing it for blood. It would be easier to approach this girl and kill her though.

Amaya felt like something was wrong. She then raised her bow and arrow again for protection. Hero flew up into the air over her head. Amaya didn't know why she felt weird about this girl but still trusted her instinct.

Calienea jumped down from her horse and put her bow back in place. She didn't want this girl to feel threatened by her.

Amaya lowered her bow. "Who are you?" she asked feeling relieved that the girl put her bow away.

"I'm Calienea, but you can call me Cali if you would like." Cali used a very smooth voice. Showing that she was very relaxed. She started to approach the girl. "What would you name be."

"I'm Amaya and this is Hero," Amaya said motioning to the hawk that then landed on her shoulder. "What are you doing out here?" she asked taking an automatic step back.

"Hunting." Cali didn't want to give anything away right now. She took another step forwards towards the girl.

"Well you have a lousy aim," Amaya said remembering the arrow land near her.
