The little girl paused, hearing noises nearby. It sounded like fighting, which scared her even more than she already was. Shaking off some leaves, she made a run for it again, arriving in a small clearing. She looked over her shoulder, then back towards the foliage. Melanie spotted movement, taking a few moments to stare at it to identify who it was...It was Juniper, that girl from District 7. She gulped and tried to sneak away, hiding in a bush. It rustled quite a bit however, afterwards, she tried to stay absolute still. Despite being allied with them, she still feared them deeply.

Kyra Croft ~ District 6 ~ Female ~ Age 16

Kyra jumped back with some surprise, but jumped back again once Cassia had taken a swing towards her upper chest, dodging the blow. "Doesn't surprise me that you are trying to kill me, you being in the richer districts..." She clenched her knife tighter, her eyes full of...Fear? Pity? Worry? It was a whole uneasy mix of emotions, but the one that stood out the most was anxiety. "I bet you've never seen how the other districts lives are." Kyra snorted, making a stance.

Cassia hadn’t expected Kyra to talk to her, but if the Capitol wanted confrontation, then confrontation they would get. “I came here to win.” she growled, “And winning is what I plan to do.” she spat, swinging at Kyra again.

Juniper was watching the girl from District 5 clumsily make her way through the woods when she noticed little Melanie from district 9. She signaled for the girl to be quiet and gestured to the girl from 5 ahead of them.

She grabbed Cassias hand swiftly and clenched on it tightly, fighting with her to remove the sword from her grasp. Kyra had her knife in the other hand, not yet daring to make a move with it against Cassia yet. “You wanted to be here, I didn’t.” She simply said.

Cassia braced as her hand was grasped, fighting against the girl with her other hand to control the sword. Balancing on her dominant right leg she kicked with her left, trying to knock Kyra off balance.

It was silent as Melanie sat in the bush, hearing the footsteps of the District 5 Girl approaching her. She shook rapidly, her breathing heavy...She let out a scream as the girl tried to attack her with a knife, missing her barely as she ran out of the bush.

Kyra Croft ~ District 6 ~ Female ~ Age 16

Kyra stumbled to the ground, letting out a grunt. She tried to get up as quickly as possible, a cut now on her forehead. Swinging her knife, she stood from afar and dared Cassia to get closer, distrust in her eyes.

Cassia used the time Kyra used to get up to situate herself, positioning her sword in a position ready to strike. Cassie thrust her sword forward again, aiming for the girl’s heart.

Juniper watched, hoping that the girl wouldn’t spot Melanie. Springing from her hiding spot, Juniper chases down the girl and pushed her to the forest floor. The girl yelped as she pinned her to the ground and pressed the dagger to her throat. “stay away from her.” Juniper growled, about to kill her, but she knew she didn’t have the guts.

indentationBenji was watching everything silently. He was trying to find a way to help the girl they swore to protect. He huffed and stoof up with his axes. He looked at the district five girl with a glare. Ben then made a swift moved and swung one of his axes at her, barely missing her. "Mel go hide." He called to the younge child. This time the district five girl charged at him. He tried to move out of the way but one her knives caught his arm. He let out an irritated breath. The girl had a dumb smirk on her face. This did it for him. He charged her and his last axe hit her, causing her go limp. Ben looked over to where his teammates were hiding. "We have to find Raven."

Melanie shook and ran to Benji. “T-Thank you Benji.” Was all she managed to muster up, her eyes full of fear. She looked towards the dead District 5 member and spotted her knife, picking it up and taking it.

Kyra Croft ~ District 6 ~ Female ~ Age 16

Kyra let out a cry of pain as the sword gashed a large cut at her side, and she let out a battle cry, swinging her knife towards Cassias shoulder and neck rapidly.

Ruby had grabbed a backpack, a set of knives, and taken off as soon as the all clear had sounded. She had run for...god knows how long, and had finally worked her way through the gorge, climbing to a cave. She hated this. Hated this already. She could hear screaming, and fighting, and knew she wasn't safe to stay there.

Aster hadn't grabbed anything. Elevens were easy picking,so she'd just ran. She'd managed to get up a tree, but wasn't hopeful.

Rae ran off the platform when they prompted her to. She found a set of throwing knives and a decent sword. She got lucky. She didn't seem to run into anyone who was willing to fight, and now she would just have to find her alliance. She held the sword in her hand as she had the throwing knives strapped to various parts of her body now. She could see the mass amount of people around fighting already. Her adrenaline completely through the roof. Raven's eyes scanned the area, looking for her group. Running towards the direction she believed she saw Juniper, Benji and Melanie go.

Red had seen the direction Aster went, she went to a tree. She knew that Aster's district was usually picked off first so she understood, she grabbed 2 back packs and she saw a bow. She hesitated for a moment but made a break for it, they would need a weapon. She wouldn't be able to grab a weapon for aster but she would make due with the ability she has for her bow and arrow skills. she atleast had a backpack for her.
She escaped the area quickly with only a few cuts and bruises mostly because she didn't want to waste time fighting right now. She looked up the tree aster was in. "Psst...aster, come get this bag. I grabbed one for you." she says. She wouldn't be able to climb the tree with all the weight on her back. She was extremely fast mostly because of her ADHD, she had so much energy to spare.

Avion had grabbed a spear, which he wasn't too fond of, he would need to find something better later though. He had seen cassia and she was fighting a little girl. He knew the girl could handle her own, but who was he to let her have all the fun. He threw the spear only for it to land near the District 6 girl. He sighed, he would need to fight with his hands now unless he grabbed the spear again. "Should've made an alliance little girl." he said to Kyra as he approached the two as they fought. The boy stood at 6 foot 4, so he practically was a tower compared to the little 16 year old girl.
