“For now, at least.” Jazz shook his head. Younglings often couldn’t see beyond their current situation. Then again, Jazz had been young once too, so he couldn’t act like he’d never been like that. “There’s lots of fun stuff to do. There’s plenty of room to race out here, and there’s always plenty of sparring partners around.”

"Yeah, but none of them are fireproof. Well, there's Wheeljack, but that's debatable since his lab blows up every other Tuesday." Spitfire said with a shrug. "Still, we're just trying to be safe and discreet out here. Explosions are far from discreet." Tink pointed out. "Hey, I can be discreet if I wanna be!" Spitfire exclaimed. Tink folded her arms and raised an optic ridge at her twin. "You have no clue what discreet means, do you?" She asked, completely deadpan. Spitfire scoffed in reply. "Course I know what it means."

Jazz could see they were getting nowhere with Spitfire, so he resorted to drastic measures. The mech grabbed Spitfire, tossing her over his shoulder and carrying her back towards the base. “Come on Tink. Let’s show your sister some real fun.” He knew it might not be the best idea to literally carry Spitfire back to the base, but it was better than standing in the hot, desert sun indefinitely. Plus there was still a small chance that Decepticons could be in the area.

"Wha?! Hey, put me down!" Spitfire exclaimed, struggling to get free from her current situation. Tink couldn't help but chuckle as she followed him back to base. "It has been a while since I've been away from the base, so some fun sounds perfect." She admitted

Jazz carried Spitfire until they were relatively close to the Ark. He made sure they were far enough away to where they had space, but close enough to take cover in the event of an attack. Jazz finally set the struggling Spitfire down, laughing at her irritation. “Don’t get your circuits in a twist. You’ll get your energy out in just a second.” Jazz shot an amused glance at Tink before looking back at Spitfire. He’d taken a few steps back, putting some distance between them. “Come at me.”

Spitfire looked between the two before looking at Jazz. "Really? You want to sparr with me?" She asked, raising an optic ridge. "Why not? No one else is around at the moment." Tink pointed out.

Jazz grinned playfully. “I think she’s scared. Scared she’ll get beaten by this old mech.” He teased. It was all in good fun, and Jazz was more than happy to help Spitfire channel some of her bottled up energy. The mech knew that Ratchet would blow a fuse if he found out that Jazz was sparring so soon after leaving the medical bay. Knowing Ratchet, he would find out within a day.

"As if!" Spitfire yelled before running at him for a tackle. One thing that she never learned was how to control her temper...and why it's not a good idea to run helm first at an enemy

Jazz easily dodged the attack. It was clearly unplanned and random, which was the kind of attack Jazz specialized in avoiding. When your opponent isn’t planning out their attack, it is much easier to predict and counter. He grabbed Spitfire’s sides, quickly throwing her over his shoulder again and spinning around in circles. “What do you think, Tink? Do I still got it?”

"You never lost it." Tink said with a laugh as Spitfire shouted out her protest. "I'm gonna be sick!" Spitfire exclaimed after a little while.
