J.D. - Heathers - Tags: Open

As the first rays of sunlight flickered in through the trees, J.D., awake, but eyes closed, couldn't help feeling he'd slept better then usual. Heck, he couldn't remember the last time he slept that well. Opening his eyes an it, he realized below him wasn't his bed but soft, cushion-like grass. He brought himself to his feet and looked around at the landscape. It seemed to be the ruins of some sort of building. Many of them, actually, it went on for a long time until J.D. couldn't see past there, and he was assuming it didn't stop after that.

Recall last night's events-what happened? He asked himself. But he couldn't remember a single thing. Looking around, he huffed and began to step forward into the ruins ahead, trying to figure out anything about where he was.

Ain awoke to an unfamiliar sight. This wasn't the Heavens that he remembered. He pushes himself to his feet before dusting himself off of any dust or dirt on his clothes. He soon notices that he's alone, and who knows if there were monsters. He tries to form a glass sword using his magic but notices he's having troubles. He grits his teeth before sighing. It seemed that he wasn't going to have a lot chances to fight. He glanced around seeing that he was surrounded by ruined building. "A disaster perhaps?" He mutters before starting to wander. He needed to see if anyone else was here, more specifically from his world.

(( the power usage in his tag will go down as he uses his powers, it'll go back up with rest and food but it was the only I could think of to nerf Arme ))

J.D. continued on, walking forward until he spotted a figure in the distance. They were blurry, but their outfit appeared to consist of white and turquoise. For a moment he'd thought it was someone he knew, but that was too good to be true. Biting his lip, he pulled his revolver and pointed it at the figure, who seemed to be wandering aimlessly. "You over there!" He shouted. "Are you from here?"

Ain senses a possible threat and forces his powers to create a glass spear before turning on his heels to face the "threat". He eases a tiny bit when he sees it's a human but grimaces at the revolver. "How about set our weapons aside to talk... I'd prefer not to hurt a human" he says, he could feel his magic growing weaker. "And to answer you're question, no I am not from here." He states firmly, blue eyes narrowed.

J.D. lowered his gun and stared at this person-no, whatever it was-that just made a spear appear from thin air like it was nothing. If you aren't a human..Ugh, I shouldn't be believing this crap. Is this guy trying to get a rise out of me or something? There's no way in hell he's whatever he says he is. "Fine," he muttered, and held out his hand for a handshake. "Greetings and salutations. J.D.. you?" He had hopes that this wouldn't be brushed off and would actually work.

Ain has his spear disappear, by shattering into small, harmless shards of glass. He still was suspicious of the boy and hesitantly takes the boys hand for the handshake. "Greetings indeed, my name is Ainchase Ishmael, but you may call me Ain" he says. He was still sure that the boy was uneasy about his magic. "I apologize if I gave you a scare, my intention wasn't to scare you but more just natural instinct when someone points a weapon towards me" he states.

There's no way that was a trick. This guy is the real deal. "It's fine, Ain." He was having no problem using the name immediately. He wanted this guy to trust him. "A chance meeting, huh? If I'm being honest, I have no idea how I ended up here. Sorry for immediately assuming you were a threat." Still not gonna let my guard down. He returned his revolver back to his trench coat pocket and smirked a little. "I'm assuming you're in the same situation as me? Woke up with no idea where you are?" He didn't even need to ask. This guy's body language said it all.

Ain nodded. "Yes, I'm not supposed to be existing still to be precise..." he says. He glances at boy, unsure what to think of him. "Apology accepted. We were both unsure of where we were and didn't know if there were possible threats in this location" he adds, he didn't exactly like the smirk at all but wasn't about to say anything.
