I ran to Omen and quickly checked for injuries. Then I picked her up by her scruff and threw her into the cabin. "I'm sorry" I said to Audrey. I wanted to get closer to see if she was alright but I knew she would probably throw a lightning bolt if I moved. "Omen is really protective of me. She probably thought you were trying to hurt me..." I muttered.

Audrey smiled and stepped closer. "It's okay. I understand. Nice guard animal." The air went back to its usual state. Audrey examined the girl. "You alright?"

Eli grinned at Nova. "You're the daughter of Nix, aren't ya?" He ran a hand through his brown unruly hair. "I'm Eli, son of Ares, blessed by Hermes."

I let out a breath. "Yea, I'm fine" I said. "Nice to meet you. I'm Nora but everyone calls me Nova." Looking at Audrey, I added "Also my guard animal's name is Omen." Then a question popped into my head. "How do you know I'm a daughter of Nyx?" I asked, looking at Eli.

Eli raised an eyebrow. He replied in a strong voice, "I just pay attention to campers. And not many kids can say that Nix is their mom." He smiled, his green eyes twinkling.

Audrey rolled her eyes. "Whatever dude. And nice meeting you Nova. I'm Audge, daughter of Zeus."

I woke up and stretched, then walked out of the Apollo cabin. It just didn't feel right sleeping there. I sat on a silvery bench directly next to the Athena cabin, and took out a book that I had changed into Ancient Greek.
