Grogginess lay heavily in the tiny groan that left the once-motionless black and yellow form, ears flattened as gray eyes slowly opened, small head lifting a bit. ".....ugh..." Slowly, the creature blinked, before glancing around slowly. ".....huh...?" He pushed himself to his paws--wait, /paws/? He glanced down at himself, eyes widening with a soft noise like a shocked bark. "Wh-?!" /What am I!?/ He swallowed hard, glancing all around his black and yellow-ringed body with disbelief. /What-what happened?/

A blue-furred, wolf-like creature lay on the ground, quite near the smaller form. He was shifting, beginning to wake up. Eyes, a bright azure blue, opened, first sleepily as the Pokémon looked around, his expression shifting to curiosity then cautiousness on sight of the creatures. However, at the sight of the well awake black-and-yellow furred one, he let out a growl—then froze. A growl? He looked back, and tensed more; A-a....what!?
