I had the watch in my hand.I was about to open it.The marking on don't understand it.I'm human.These thing are not human.Then I dropped the watch and i fall next to him.

The Doctor saw a glint of falling metal just before the girl fell with it. It landed on the deck, bounced, and settled between them. He reached down with his hand to pick it up, having immediately recognised it as a fob watch. He needed to check if the writing was Gallifreyan. He couldn't easily reach it because he was tied up. He kept stretching, but couldn't quite reach it. A sudden question popped into his head, and he spoke without thinking "Are you adopted?" He didn't really know why he asked, but for some reason, he very much wanted to know. It wasn't everyday an Earth-girl was kidnapped by Fenn for no reason unless she was already with him. The TARDIS must have somehow emergency beamed her up. How? Why? There was only one explanation.

Adelade was lifted in the jar keeping her captive, and was tustled around violently. She vaugely wondered where she was being taken. Why was everyone being evactuated? How did they find her jar? She climbed to the side as her captor shook the jar once again, and squeaked as it shook more and more violently. Where were they taking her?

Midnight whined and squirmed, being held forcefully by someone she didn't recognize. She spotted others whom she recognized, trying to scramble towards them, but failing desperately. She whined, trying to escape her captor, but once again, failed.

I looked at him and said "yes i was adopted.The watch there was with me since i was little."In a shy way.

That confirmed it. She even talked and acted much like her "parents." He was filled with both joy and sadness. Why had he left her behind? He should have gone back for her. He wanted to kick himself for it, but unfortunately he was tied down so that was physically impossible at the moment. Still, he almost couldn't believe it! He was just so happy she was even still alive, unlike the rest of his friends and family were for the most part. Clearly, she didn't know who she was yet, so he didn't have to ask her if she'd ever opened it. "Can you reach it? I can't get to it." he said. But he no longer needed to reach it, he knew it was Gallifreyan. Still, he hoped the Fenn wouldn't see it; even alien pirates like gold.

I try to reach it then I got it.So I said "I got it."I put it in my other hand. And closed my hand on it.

"Open it." The Doctor whispered quietly. "Aren't you wondering why you never have? " he asked, trying to make her open it. He knew it was hard-wired into her brain to resist opening it. He had made it so. "What if your parents left you something inside?" he suggested, knowing just how much her parents had left for her inside the tiny little watch. An entire universe, that's what. He watched her carefully, waiting for her to open it. She hadn't even had the chance to choose her name yet, he remembered. She'd never even been given a name either. He assumed her adopted parents had named her for him, but he'd been in such a rush in the war. Another wave of sadness swept over him, not even knowing his own daughter's name.

I looked at the watch.I wanted to open it. So i open it.There was a light.I looked at it.

As the yellow light burst from the watch, his daughter seemed frightened. However, as soon as it reached her eyes her face went blank. He couldn't see what she was remembering, but he hoped she wouldn't remember the Time War. She was his daughter, and he still felt like she should be protected from all of that horror. After a few seconds, the light subsided. She still wouldn't recognize who he was at first, because she'd never seen his new face before, but he was sure she'd figure it out quickly enough. "Remember me?" he asked, smiling kindly. He'd almost completely forgotten that they were being tied up by space-pirates. It seemed so unimportant at the moment.

At this point, the aliens were all staring at the two of them, and the watch. Most of them were scared, but some seemed more angry. He feared they might try to attack them, but he didn't really care; it would be worth it. The Doctor still had no clue how his daughter had gotten there in the first place.

Xavia's head whipped around to look at Cat, wide. "Dad..is she..?" She asked, in Gallifreyan. She had a sister. Xavia couldn't believe it. A sister. She'd always wanted a sister. Her head snapped up to see Midnight struggling to escape their captors. "Midnight! Calm down girl! It's alright. Just be good, yeah?" She smiled reassuringly at the puppy, hoping the pirates didn't hurt the little canine. She then turned her attention back to the girl who could possibly be her sister watching intently.
