Sinna tilted her head to the side, her hair a black waterfall down her back. Blinking innocently back, she said; "And what if I did? Isn't it good manners anyways to do it again?" Sinna smiled, her cherry lip gloss shining in the light; of course, she was feigning sweetness. Sweetness, along with flirty and stupid, were not in her verbal or emotional category. Slowly, she urned back to Violet; she had not answered Tristan's question about her name, and she had a good reason too; even though her... uh, "patterns" were irregular, she had seen Tristan around at least twice; she had too, as they lived under the same roof. blinking dewy drops of coalesced mist from her long eyelashes, she asked violet; "And who are you? I believe I have never seen you before; are you a shadowhunter or a downworlder?" Sniffing in mock disdain, she added; "I sincerely hope you do not spit acid in any way, shape or form." Acid brought up bad memories for her, but considering she had been wounded by just that, Sinna thought she diserved a free fear pass. Staring at violet, more intently now, she then asked -no, demanded- "Wait... You don't really spit acid, do you? I would really hate it if you do." Whipping back around without waiting for an answer, she shot a look, though not altogether a mean one, at Tristan, then tromped through the entrance of the Institute, taking and flinging her wet coat at a coat hanger as she did so. Perhaps a stroke of luck, or just good aim, the coat landed perfectly, silently swishing around from the speed of the throw, sparkles of light thrown of from the damp threads as they reflected the warm firelight. Not glancing over her shoulder, Sinna flicked some water from her hair and said; "So? Are we going to start the meeting or not?" She continued down the hall; even though she was usually very level-headed, she was also very brisk and straightforward, and usually didn't "have time" for such dilly-dallying.

Tristan watched as the girl whipped past him, a girl with varying emotions. She watched as she headed over to where the meeting was to be held, and glanced over at Violeta who was also heading over there. He closed the Institute's wide, wood doors and followed after Sinna, to the meeting room.
Once there, he took a seat in the center, so he could easily hear each of the people's opinions on the matte of Mortmain and his automatons returning. It had been such a long time, a century even, since he had last hear of the topic. He remembered hearing about a case on Valentine and his son, Jonathan, but no one heard from them since. He shook his head, and listened before putting his input. "I believe we need to first find of his whereabouts and his dealings in the Downworld. We know how he uses demon energies, do we not? He wouldn't be likely to be in the same place he was, as that wouldn't be a very effective strategy. Perhaps we could call in Magnus Bane, for any rumors going down in the Downworld of Mortmain, or anything strange going down there, maybe?" He usually loved to input on situations like these, but he was often scoffed at for what they believed to be so stupid.

Violeta looked at the girl strangely, but did not reply to her. She was glad the two of them hadn't recognized her, as it would surely surprise them to see her there. No one had known her whereabouts until recently, and of course they wouldn't believe her to be visiting. Her father was infamous with both the Downworlders and Shadowhunters, but that was long ago. He seemed to have disappeared from the time she had disappeared as well, making it strange to everyone. But, she pushed the thought away and headed in, through the two doors, and leaned against a pillar, listening in their conversation. She used a fake name to get in this meeting, and if someone was to see her eyes, then she'd surely be found out. She crossed her arms, and continued listening to each of their inputs.

Rose wears, at all times not in Shadowhunter gear, a shirt of the same style shown above, in different colors, mostly dark blues, reds, and greens. She always wears a pair of elbow length fishnet gloves, and a pair of short denim shorts. She also wears a pair of black and white striped knee high socks, and her shoes differ from day to day, depending on her mood.

Personality;;
Rose is quiet, preferring to blend in. She is not much of a decision maker, but once one is made, she will stick to it until the end. She hates vampires, but can tolerate most other downworlders, even be friendly with a few.

History;;
Rose's parents, one a Shadowhunter and one a mundane, were killed by vampires when she was 8 and wondered into their nest on accident and her parents tried to save her. Luckily, a few Shadowhunters were nearby, but too late to save her parents. They took her in and trained her.

Also, if you're wondering what's happening, currently the Shadowhunters are a meeting in the New York Institute in the room where downworlders are also able to accompany them. They're discussing about what to do about Mortmain and his automatons. C: You may start whenever you like. Also, do you mind if I call you the Dobster? Rhymes with lobster~ I is Gelly, after what Wolfie has deemed me as. }

Rose walked quietly down the street, pushing her way through the New York crowds. She hated this city, too many people, it always made her late. She shoved through a particularly thick group of mundies and, with a sigh of relief, found her destination standing across the street. The Institute of New York.

There was supposed to be some meeting going on, about these mechanical freaks running around. She looked down at her right sock, which was torn about halfway down. They had attacked her about a week ago, and luckily, she had gotten away relatvely unharmed, but she still needed to know what they were.

She quickly crossed the street, her desire for knowledge pushing her up to the front door, which she opened as little as possible and slid inside, shutting it behind her and taking a moment to look around.

{This always confused me in the book, so ignore everything from this point on if I'm wrong and just correct me xD}

To her surprise, there were already many people here, and surprisingly, not all of them were Nephilim. Was this such a big deal that even the Downworlders were getting involved? Mor ecurious than ever, she stuck to the wall and tried to figure out what was going on

Tristan, upon bring answered by a look of silent, reserved faces, he sighed, and slumped back in his chair, when he heard the door close, though the noise was rising again. He saw a girl, with brown hair an green eyes, who looked a little older than he was. He had seen her once before, years ago at another meeting, but he didn't remember her name, since it was such a long time ago. He walked over to her, and said: "May I help you?" She looked strange walked against the walls like that, and was wondering if she was scared to approach, or just wanted to watch the meeting. More people were imputing on the subject, and there were many heads nodding, and he sighed that they still treated him like a child, just turning of age. He looked back at the girl, tilting his head to the side, his green eyes looking at her for an answer.

Rose studied the boy in front of her, frowning. He seemed vaguely familliar somehow. Maybe she had snuck into a meeting with him before or something, he barely looked of age, not that she could really talk. "I came to see what is going on. Some metal freak attacked me last week in Rhode Island. Figured that was what this meeting was about."

She looked around the room, not really able to pick up what eactly was going on in the conversation just yet, everyone seemed to be putting in their two cents and it was rather chaotic. This was why she didn't like large groups of people, such as the mob outside, or the group in here.

Tristan motioned her over to two seats next to them to sit on. He thought that maybe the chair were put there for Downworlders, since most Shadowhunters loved to tell their ideas and strategies. They loved pitching in, as he noticed. He took a seat, and looked over bak at her. "So, who are you, again? Sorry if that sounds informal, but I know we've met before. I'm Tristan Blueblood." His family ring shined even in the dull room, as he made sure to wear it with pride and care. If there was one thing her learned from being a Shadowhunter, your family name was your life. If you lost it's pride, your whole family goes down in shame along with you. He slipped his hands in his pockets as he asked, "So, I see many are late for this meeting. Can I ask why?" He was curious to know.

Rose didn't take the seat, but did stand by him. She studied the family ring that was flashing on his finger, slight regret touching her. Her mother had never passed on the family ring, all she had was the dull silver cross hanging around her neck. "Sydney Melrose. I don't know why everyone else is late, but the crowds outside are insane," she said, shooting an annoyed glare out the window, where even from here, she could see the crowds.

Tristan extended out a hand to her, and smiled. "Truly," he replied, looking at all the Downworlders and Shadowhunters around everywhere. He couldn't believe why it was held in this Institute rather than Idris. There was at least a few hundred. "So, how do you think should approach this case with Mortmain?" he asked, brushing his brown hair back, his hair instantly springing back up.
