How old are you?
I’m twenty five years old as of last month, imagine that. It’s amazing that I've even managed for this long, what with all the germs and diseases in this world of ours. Somehow I've managed, though, thank goodness for that.

A description of yourself, please.

Has anyone caught your fancy?
Not particularly, no. And besides, prolonged contact with another, especially kissing, can lead to the transmission of viruses and other such disgusting things, so I don’t want to take any chances.

Why are you taking part in the revolution?
Well, for the sake of the people, of course. The current government isn't working, that much is obvious, as the streets are lines with the poor and unfortunate people. They cannot help themselves, so we must come to their aid. Too many are dying because of the greed of the government, and it isn't right. I want to help the people who need it most- the poor, the sick.

Anything else?
I think I may be coming down with something, you probably shouldn't stand too close to me, for your sake and mine. Oh, and I'm a medical student at the university, if that's of any interest to you.
(He's also a hypochondriac, ironically. Joly is eccentric and light-hearted, although sometimes morbid.)

((Heck yes. I know a girl who's dating the guy I like and everyone knows and shes Cosette and I'm Eponine and he's Marius. But lately he's "accidentally" taken to calling me Cosette and I'm like "hmmmmmmmmmmm" because you know and yeah stuff. (Eh, Cosette's alright. I probably like her about as much as I like Eponine. I mean, she's really sweet and kind and she doesn't deserve all the hate she gets just because she found happiness. Plus, I dunno, Eponine just seems really selfish to me. But they're both alright.

I ship Enjolras with Grantaire- it's just so adorable. I mean, Grantaire is a cynic who believes in nothing, until he meets Enjolras, who he sees as a god and practically worships. He doesn't believe in anything besides Enjolras. And they died side by side, even though Grantiare could have stayed back and not died. He chose to die with Enjolras. A tragically beautiful love story ^.^)

Reason to rebel: He's been living on the street for most of his life. He does what he has to to survive,and the government has done nothing to help that at all. He's got a fire in his spirit that no one can put out, and the rebellion feeds the flames.

Name (just a first name if you dont mind): My name is Jean Prouvaire, although I'd rather be called Jehan.

Age: I suppose I'm nearing twenty-three. A pity those early, lazy years could not have lasted, but revolution for a good cause is better than idling for a lack of one.

Short description or picture: Jehan is slender and flaxen-haired, with a lean build and fair freckled skin. His clothes are boldly colored and make up for their atrocious mismatches with their enthusiasm. Silk ribbons and flower stems often find their way into his loose braid, and he is often found with his head in the clouds. He writes and reads poetry as often as he talks of revolution, and his heart is always open. A gentle wildcat, this soft-spoken man has wicked claws when his bravery is tested, but treats his friends with velvet paws. Relationship status: I should like to think that relationships are a personal matter, one to be treated with respect and not cast about like idle chatter--that means you, Courfeyrac. Even if I did happen to...have my eye on someone, I'd rather not share until I felt I was ready. You'll be sure to know, though. I've already got a poem in the works, should I happen to discover that frail spark to fan the flames of romance. ((i'm incredibly fond of jehan/courfeyrac, but as there's no courf in this RP yet, jehan isn't in any sort of relationship, aside from with love itself))

Reason to rebel: I simply can't stand to see France in such a state. The women are destitute and the children roam the streets without a family or a house to call their own. We must do something to rid our tender nation of the cruel monarchy.

((I AM a rather selfish person, and that is part of why I relate to Eponine. I don't have too many issues with Cosette, persay, but Amanda whats-her-face....great actress, but something MUST be done about that vibratto. ))
