;Full Description;
Courtney is tall with a slender frame. She looks down on most girls - literally - at 5'9. Her skin is paler than usual, as she hates going outside, and even when she does, she doesn't tan, but burns - which is quite ironic. She's thinner that she should be, but she just can't bring herself to eat more, to put a bit of weight on. She's constantly obsessing over herself - her face needs to be clearer. Her hair needs to be softer, longer, fuller. Her eyes... oh, her black eyes that are starred with dark lashes - she hates them. Even if they go with her bad girl image she's striven to create, she can't help but wish they were a prettier color - sky blue, for example. Even a common color such as brown would be fine with her.

Her hair is a silky brown color. This is her only feature she'll admit to liking. Her velvety locks fall in precise waves around her pallid face, even when she can't be bothered to fuss with it. Courtney can be labeled as pretty with a face like hers. She has a short nose, but it fits in her face. Her lips are naturally stained red and plump. Her eyebrows are two slashes of dark color on her forehead.

Courtney's style is - anything that is black, gray, white, or leather. In other words, she's very goth. She'll wear leather jackets over T-shirts with ripped sleeves, and tight fitting black jeans with surprisingly girly gray flats. For makeup, she'll go overboard in outlining her lips with her trademark black lipstick, and running her mascara wand over her eyelashes. She never does much to her hair, just leaves it down, or pulls it into a barrette when she's impatient and doesn't want it in her way.

;Personality;
Courtney is tough. She's as hard as nails, not letting anything get to her -whether it's physical pain or emotional. She'll simply close up, not letting one emotion through. She's taken self-defense classes before, so she's a good fighter, and she's not afraid to give a trouble-maker the whopping they deserve. The personal image she'd decided upon is bad girl, loner, outsider. In a way, it's true. She's not interested in making friends, and loneliness is a word that's foreign to her. So is, as a matter of fact, 'niceness,' and 'friendliness.' She's never either of them. That doesn't mean she doesn't try, however. Sometimes she'll make a pathetic effort to say something that approaches being complimentary, but not very often. Don't expect it of her.

Courtney is easily riled. You can make her mad quite easily. She won't let sorrow or any of the other feelings get to her, but rage is one emotion that she's prone to feeling. You just have to say something that could be taken as an insult to her, and her eyes will narrow, her nostrils will flare, and then she'll let all that pent up anger she's been holding in either verbal form or physical. She's fine with both. The only problem with this part of her personality - okay, well, problems - is that once she gets mad, she's hard to calm down. And when she get's all fired up, she doesn't think straight, and is more likely to cause trouble, or rush right into a fight.

Courtney is intelligent. Some might not think so, either because they've seen her record, or just know her reputation, but she is. She doesn't try hard in school, and so she doesn't score very well, but she has the mental capacity to go far. Her favorites in this area are brain teasers and riddles, and the like. She loves to spend her time solving them; she can spend over two hours just working on one teaser. She may not have the highest grade in math, or English, but she still is smart.

It's not an elaborate tale. It's not one like so many others, with her sharing her name with a relative with an untimely demise, or it having some surprisingly well-fitting meaning - no, it's a story of simplicity at best. Her forename was chosen by her mother, who readily admitted to have liking the name for a long time. It could partly be said that her name was selected half out of spite, however. Both her mother and now Shiloh, herself, too, is well-aware of the fact that her father disapproves of her rather masculine name. At first, it might be confusing as to why her mother would purposefully go out of her way to irritate her father, but those who knew the family back then could easily inform you that at that moment in time they were currently working their way through a divorce, after three long years dominated by fights. 'Ella,' was her father's choice, simply due to the reason that he liked the way it sounded, and 'Wesley,' is her mother's maiden name.

Some people simply use her middle name in which to refer to her, even as others become creative, and break down her names to create a variety of nicknames, including, but not limited to - ' 'l,' 'Wes,' and 'Shi.' Others, still, simply use her last name. Shiloh prefers to have one use her christened name, but is open to accepting a nickname if one is persistent.

She made her first appearance in the world two months earlier than expected. If she had been born when scheduled, she might have a different name than today, for their divorce would have been wrapped up by then, and her mother might not have been inclined to denote her something that she knew would make her ex-husband feel distinctly uncomfortable with.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Anna Anderson, nicknamed Desire. This girl, a red-headed girl, was so much more different than she is now. This girl used to be strong. She used to be independent and extremely stubborn. She used to be friendly and she used to trust everyone, unless that trust was broken. But one day, her trust, her belief in everyone she knew was broken. That day, she was no longer naïve and she was no longer innocent or pure. That day, she'd learned an important life lesson.

The Desire you see today is one that is just a shell and a broken one at that. This girl used to be able to do things on her own. She still tries to do things on her own, but when she's given choices, she shies away. Before, she would've boldly picked her choice without worrying about what the other person would think, or how they would feel. Or if they would hurt her.

Now, Desire keeps to herself, letting few into her life. She always tries to find something to keep herself busy, whether it be reading, cleaning her apartment, or just doing something. She fears that if she doesn't keep herself occupied, something from her past will wriggle it's way into her mind, and make her freeze up. Sometimes, keeping herself busy doesn't work though and she then shuts down and goes deep inside of herself.

There are remnants, bits and pieces, of Desire's old self somewhere. Sometimes they are shown, though often times, they are now buried. It's rare for her to accept someone into her life and she doesn't like accepting help, fearing that the person will want something in return. Eventually though, just give her time, and the old Desire will emerge and you will find she's a sweet girl, yet strong and stubborn.

He's neither overly tall, nor overly short - he's simply average height and also average weight. His hair tends to come in two styles; 'the wake up style' which simply entails him waking up, running a comb through it and walking out of the door, and the 'spiky style' where he actually takes the time to gel it into a pretty neat style. The first hairstyle leaves him with light brown hair that flops about everywhere; he doesn't tend to leave his hair like this much. The second hairstyle gives him a mess of spiky gelled fringe that he has a habit of messing about with pretty much all the time. His fringe tends to hide away his eyes which are deep green in color much like a forest after rain. He's got a pale, yet not unhealthy tone to his skin. He seems free of scars, yet if you happen to ever see his back - which is covered up pretty much all of the time, you'll find that he has a rather unhealthy habit of scratching at his back when he's asleep. Thousands of scars, half-healed scratches and deep scratch marks cover his back. Across his left wrist he has followed the trend of having the infinity symbol tattooed there, and along the back of his left arm the words ‘Finite destruction’ are tattooed. The reason for the second tattoo is unknown.

He's very dismal and sombre in his clothing style - grey grey grey. He also has guitar pick necklaces, from when he used to play the guitar, he had the picks made into necklaces since he can't touch the guitar anymore.

Notorious for his hypocritical sense of being, he’s perfectly fine with telling someone one thing and then doing it himself the next. He is extremely good at giving advice, yet if perhaps he had faith in his own advice and followed it once in a while, he wouldn’t get into as much trouble as he happens to – playing with fire? Only because he’d told someone else not to about an hour previous. He’s therefore seems incredibly foolish and arrogant.

However, the reasons for him copying other people’s ideas and catastrophes is that he’s incredibly insecure, with the firm belief that one day, everyone is just going to reject him for not following the crowd. He doesn’t like to stand out, and prefers to go with the tide on matters like that. He doesn’t want to be different; he wants to fit in... Which is pretty hard when your hands burst into flames when you touch anything.

He craves social interaction, and detests being alone, he hates solitude. When left out of something he tends to try a little desperately to fit in, sometimes creating extravagant lies just so he can fit in and pretend he is like everyone else. Yet most of the time it’s easy to know he’s lying and people tend to ignore him because of it.

He’s rather shy, in his opinion, being out of the spot light is better than being in it. He’s got a fear of humiliating himself in front of people. He has social phobia – a fear of being raised negatively amongst a group of people. Though he’s not shy to the extent that he won’t talk, he just prefers not to. When he does talk it’s for a good reason and it will be something interesting that he has to say.

◊Acceptance, though this is something that most teenagers crave and believe that they never receive so he might be chasing after a false lead there.
◊ The color blue, it’s just calming and relaxing. It’s also the color of water, which puts out fires.
◊ Macaroni cheese, it’s so good it doesn’t need an explanation.
◊ Mannerisms, but not to extents that go into things such as courting – just enough that people will say please and thank-you is enough.
◊The smell of ginger, it’s an ingredient widely used in his mother’s cooking and he just likes the smell of it even though he thinks it tastes horrible.
◊Fire, well, it started this mess... And even though he hates it for ruining his life... There’s just something compelling about it.

◊Solitude, he just can’t stand being by himself. Sure he’s likely not to talk to the other person in the room, he just likes to know someone’s there just in case something problematic happens.
◊ Fireworks, they are very loud, and look terrible in comparison to the fire he finds so gripping.
◊ The color neon, its just way too bright. It would be better if colors were just paler in his opinion, so that fire would stand out more.
◊Texting while someone is talking to you, it’s just rude in his opinion, and completely ridiculous that someone would prefer to converse with a machine than a person.
◊Graveyards, they are just a little too sombre and depressing for Alex to cope with.
