Nick looked up at the sound of the scream, and felt Damon get ready to scream back. "Shhhh...shhhh...." He copied the sounds of the ocean and traced his veins.

"It's okay!" Nick called back, making Damon stand perfectly still.

Rose sat on Kiaka watching the beach and riders., she sighed and patted her capall usice's neck. Then made her way down to the beach.

Kim let out a sigh of relief as she stilled Corr, or at least as closed to still as he ever was. He still pawed at the ground but Kim continued to run the bracelet over his neck and veins, cooing to the stallion. ''so you entering the race?'' She asked, looking over at Nick and his chesnut.

"Of course." Nick answered. "I enter every year."

''Nice to meet some of my competition'' Kim said, grinning at the boy.''Name's Kim'' she said,kneading circles into the spot behind Corr's ears.

"Nick." He said. "Nice horse."

''Thanks, now if only he could behave like your's is'' Kim said, smiling as she looked over the other Capaill Uisce. ''He looks gorgious'' She said, looking back up to the teen on the bay's back.

"It took me three years to get him like this. I saved his life, and now he's saving mine." Nick patted Damon's neck.
