"I just have one question," Niko said, following Slyvester up the stairs, ignoring the delicious looking food set out for them and his hunger. "How long has this town been here?" He asked. Niko had concluded to himself that this would have to be a pretty new town if it was still standing, unless all that was needed to keep mutant animals out of the city was a simple fence. That and one enhanced human couldn't be enough to hold back the animals. If it was older than he thought either these people were really lucky or therre was something else about this place.

Sisi slipped inside directed by Farah's gesture, her head was bent forward as she tried to keep what little composure she had left. As she tried not to make a sound or movement that would give away the level of pain, she managed a few half hearted grumbles most directed at the scientists that had failed to mix her DNA right. Following Slyvester up the stairs fled into the guest room and collapsed onto one of the beds. At the mention of food she narrowed her eyes down to slits "I thing I will pass." she groaned softly as her stomach gave a painful twist. Right now the only thing she could do was wait the worst of it out.

He looked at Niko and nodded, "It's fairly new. We built some of the buildings that stand taller. One or two buildings survived, the rest we had to build with suppiles." He nodded at Sisi, Just call for anything if needed." He nodded to the rest of the group and went down stairs to finish some work. He took out his sword and went in one of the sheds behind the house. He ran a mechanical device that would sharpen the blade. He placed the sword on the spinning wheel and held tightly, making sure it wouldn't slip.

Alice nodded and walked over to the table containing food. She ran her fingers through her jet black hair taking a seat. The food brought out the hunger that gnawed at her stomach. She picked up a piece taking a bite, not even bothering to see what she was taking a bite of. She relaxed leaning against the back of her chair. She never really talked much, mainly because no one asked her to talk.

"Don't mind if I do," Dominic said, sitting down at the table and digging in. He made a "mmm" sound and closed his eyes. The food wasn't amazing, but it was amazing compared to what they usually ate. He was sick of dried meat and various plants they found. He opened his eyes and looked at Alice. He blinked, wondering if he should say anything. Thinking of nothing, he went back to his food.

Farah sat on the bad next to Sisi and gave the girl a sympathetic look,
"Want me to see if I can find any pain meds around here?" she asked.
Pain medication was a luxury they reserved for serious injuries. If it was anything else, the person just had to tough it out. Farah always felt bad about the fact that Sisi's situation was one of those "tough it out" things, but maybe the people here had a few pills they could spare.

Hearing the bed squeak as Farah sat down Sisi turned over opened one eye and managed a small smile "No I'll be fine in a while." she said faintly. She was about to shut her eye and turn over again when she stopped and said "But if you can find something cold that might help a bit." usually she just endured through the attack not wanting to get into their meager supply of painkillers for just forty minutes of pain but, since they were in a town a bit of ice or something icy cold would help her through the worst of it. Right now she was still just in the stabbing pain phase however she had a feeling that soon she was going to have to deal with the fire phase.

Alice glanced up at Dominic and gave a small smile before returning to her warm food. She sighed finishing and running her fingers through her jet black hair and leaning against the back of her wooden chair. She her bright green eyes shifted to Dominic "Hello." She said deciding to break the silence. She glanced at her hands which were curled in her lap before looking back up again. She was rarely the one to start conversations.

Farah nodded,
"I'll be right back," she said. She stood up and walked down stairs.
"Anyone seen Slyvester?" she asked.
Dominic nodded and jerked his head towards the back door. Farah turned around and walked towards the shed, hearing the whine of the sword sharpener. She poked her head inside.
"Hey!" she yelled over the noise.

Dominic looked at Alice. He swallowed his mouthful of food,
"Hi..." he said.

Alice thrummed her fingers silently against the table trying to think of something to say or do. She sighed softly looking around. Her bright green eyes focused up on Dominic. She crossed her ankles curling her hands in her lap. She gave a small half-awkward smile trying to figure something out to say.

Dominic shrugged and finished off his food. He pushed the empty plate away and sat back in his chair. He noticed that the bandage on his arm had come loose and was slipping down his arm. He grimaced.
Let the rebandaging begin, he thought bitterly
He took his knife and cut the bandage off of his arm. He winced and the cut began aching all over again. He put the gauze down on the table. The cut had stopped bleeding for the most part, but it would still need to be cleaned off. He sighed.
"You think they have running water around here somewhere?" he asked.
