Her legs were cold. Of course today she sided with a dress. It was hardly the Kenna Tate thing to do, and yet here she was. Tragic. She was more determined to focus on Hank, what he was saying, and what in the world was happening than the chilly temperature. Surely she'd find something to get herself worked up over sooner than later, and that would warm her up one way or another.
"I can help with the dry part," Kenna reassured Hank with a wary smile. She lifted one of her palms up towards the cloudy sky, tongue poking out of the corner of her lips as she mentally envisioned an umbrella. Soon enough, a ghostly one appeared before her, its handle touching her outstretched palm. Kenna often connected the umbrella her powers created to the clear ones she once found at the store, except it was completely weightless. In addition to that, even though it blocked out the rain- or in this case, the snow- from hitting her person, anyone other than Kenna who tried to swipe at it would go right through it. It was pretty incredible in Kenna's eyes.
She took Hank's arm with a thankful smile, siding close to him so her umbrella could cover his head, too. Although she knew he didn't like his height (surely he'd mentioned it before!), it was perfect for Kenna and her magical umbrella. "That's a great start. I'm sure a lot of people are headed there now, anyway."

age: eighteenxxgender: malexxcamp years: sixxxgoddess: nemesisxxlocation: towards lunch tables xxtags/mentions: roxanne/augustaSamuel focused on his breathing as he stepped away from Hunter, daring to escape his bombarding questions. It wasn't as though Sam had anything against Hunter, especially since he barely knew the guy, but he wasn't exactly willing to give a reason as to why he appeared so, quote, "moody." Or "down." That was his business. Maybe he was simply having an off day. Sam knew that if someone looked down, he knew better than to bug them. Especially if they weren't someone he knew. If they needed someone, they would find someone.
His eyes drifted upward and he caught sight of Auggie, one of the few people at Camp Half-Blood that he could willingly consider his friend. She was leading another girl into the woods. He watched with curiosity, but decided not to interfere. He had no part of that interaction, anyway.
His thirst for freedom and silence was soon drained by a chirpy voice to his right. Sighing heavily, Samuel halted, and turned towards the newcomer. In bounded Roxanne. Samuel wasn't friends with Roxanne. Again, he didn't dislike her, but he didn't really know her, and truth be told, had little desire at the moment to do such a thing. He decided to dismiss the blunt
"yo" for now, deciding to play nice.
"Just... Trying to get lunch," he settled on, tone honest yet audibly bored.

age: sixteenxxgender: femalexxcamp years: onexxgoddess: aphroditexxlocation: aphrodite's cabinxxtags: kadeAdmittedly, Pippa hadn't ever really been a camp person, but something about the way this place carried a certain vibe told her it was going to be different than the typical ways of camp. For starters, no gross, reused clothing. Maybe there would be a little less of a strict schedule; Pippa wasn't too fond of the waking up at seven a.m rule. Sure, there would be more realistic, tougher forms of camp training, such as use of real weapons, as opposed to a flimsy, plastic bow-and-arrow or a fake rock-climbing wall, but maybe that would make things more eventful? As long as she didn't have to do it. Pippa wasn't exactly here to get an injury.
What exactly was she here for? She supposed regular schooling wouldn't teach her about her powers or whatnot, but were they something she'd really need in life? As much as Pippa was ready to laugh it off, the look on Kade's face upon mentioning the odd weather change was making her question herself. She didn't want to psych herself out quite yet, though. She wasn't ready to have to fear waking up in the morning for who knows what reason. For now, Pippa was ready to place herself back in her little fantasy world and appreciate the cabin she was assigned to.
As much as she disliked snow, it was a big magical in the moment. Extremely weird, once again, but pretty. It was a nice step forward into this new magical world. It was like Narnia, but she'd walked through a gate instead of a wardrobe. Hogwarts, minus the wands and brooms. Their own little Wonderland.
"Strange," she mused, but said nothing more. Instead, Pip collected her bags and headed inside of the cabin. Colours burst from all around her, but she was more focused on setting her bags back down before they tumbled out of her hands and onto the ground. She wasted little time, but only because she knew someone was outside. Although, for all she knew, he could have left. That didn't seem to be the case, for when Pippa peaked through the curtains, Kade was still standing there. Turning away from the window, Pippa quickly scoped out a large mirror that looked like something she'd find from The Little Mermaid, and checked over her appearance. She had a lot of new people to meet, after all. She ran a hand over her hair, then exited the cabin, hopping down the steps to return to Kade's level. "Do you guys have a schedule to follow, or do you kind of just do whatever?"
